UNIT 6

Lesson 2

Тема урока: "At the supermarket."

Цели: 1. Введение нового лексического материала по теме «Еда» в рамках речевой ситуации «Покупка и выбор продуктов в магазине» и отработка его употребления в речи;

2. Ознакомление с правилом чтения слов с буквосочетаниями ou, au + gh;

3. Развитие навыков устной речи, аудирования и письма;

4. Ознакомление с правилами здорового питания.

Методы обучения - объяснительно-иллюстративный;

Тип урока - комбинированный

Средства обучения - магнитофон, аудиокассета; тематические картинки по теме «Продукты»; интерактивная доска; карточки с буквосочетаниями "ou, au + gh", транскрипционным звуком ;

карточки с транскрипциями слов и изображениями продуктов.



ХОД УРОКА.

׀. Организационный момент.

1. Приветствие. (- Good afternoon, children!

- How are you?

- Sit down, please!)

2. Планирование. (The title of our lesson "At the supermarket." So, today we are going to talk about food. And you should learn new words. Open your exercise-books and write down the date and the title of our lesson).

3. Речевая разминка.

I think you are fine because you are not hungry. I am sure you have breakfast every morning. Do you want to know what the English eat for breakfast? Listen to your classmates: Alfir and Liza and then you will answer my questions.

(In England the tourists can have "full English breakfast". First they have flakes and juice. Then they eat ham, eggs or tomatoes. Then comes toast and marmalade. The tourists can finish their breakfast with coffee or tea with milk. In fact the English don't often have "full English breakfast" at home. They usually have one of these things with coffee or tea. The English call it "continental breakfast".)

Thank you. So, answer my questions, please.

  • What kind of breakfast can the tourists in England have? (They can have "full English breakfast")

  • Do they eat eggs and ham? (Yes, they do.)

  • Do they have bread and toast? (Yes, they do.)

  • Can the tourists finish their breakfast with juice? (No, they can't)

  • Do the English always have their "full breakfast"?

  • What is "continental breakfast"?

  • Do you like "full" or "continental breakfast"

  1. Всесторонняя проверка знаний.

Now, look at the picture, you can see a fridge there. What can you see there?

(- I can see some lemons. But I can't see any cabbages. )



׀׀׀. Объяснение нового материала.

  1. There is a lot of food at the supermarket. Some food is from abroad. And we can't read all these names of this food. Let's learn the rule on p. 103. Look at the blackboard.

Let's listen to the speaker and read the words of Ex.1 correctly. (.)



  1. We buy food at the supermarket. What can we see there? Listen to the speaker and read some new words, please. Ex.2 and 3 on pages 103-104.

  2. Now, look at the sentence in the rubric "Friends". Guess the meaning of the underlined word.

  3. You know transcription helps us in reading. Can you match the pictures and their transcription?

׀v. Закрепление нового материала.

  1. Look, our friends Robin, Misha and Alice are at the supermarket. What do they want to buy? Read Ex.5 on p. 105 and answer the questions to each other? You'll work in pairs.

  2. Now, we are at the supermarket. Look at the blackboard and choose what is good for you, what is bad for you and what do you normally buy at the supermarket?

V. Подведение итогов.

So, we know what food is good and bad for us. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables. Don't eat much sweet things. Drink milk, juice and mineral water.
