Aims:

Educational:

• повторить и активизировать в речи учащихся изученные ЛЕ по теме "Travelling";

• закрепить навыки употребления Past Simple

• продолжить развития навыков диалогической речи.

Developing:

• способствовать развитию интеллектуальной, эмоциональной, мотивационной сферы личности учащихся;

• развивать познавательную активность учащихся;

• развивать внимание, воображение и логику.

Воспитательные:

• воспитание добраты и чувства товарищества

Procedure of the lesson.

1. Organization moment.

-Good morning, dear guests and pupils. I'm glad to see you today. I hope everybody is OK.

-How are you pupils?

-Who is on duty today?

-Who is absent?

-What was your home task?

-Are you ready for the lesson?

2. Phonetic drill.

Repeat and read:

[t] travel, travelling, customs, flight, seat, ticket, get tickets

[d] direct, depart, departure, mind, minded

[ð] the, there, there is, there are, than, other

-Today we will repeat the Past Simple and the topic we are going to discuss today is "Travelling".

We know that many people are fond of traveling
-Why do people like to travel?
P: They travel to see different places, to meet different people, to try different food.

-How can people travel?
P1: They can travel by car, by sea, by plane, by bus, on foot.

3. Checking up the home task.

Ex 1, p31. Read about Dauren's and Nina's holiday.

-OK, well done. And now let's repeat Past Simple. How can we use this tense.

-Well, say the past form of the following words.

B: I'll have a single ticket, please.

A: That'll be thirteen pound exactly. How would you like to pay?

B: Do you accept credit cards?

A: No, I'm afraid not.

B: Well, I pay cash, then. Will there be refreshments on the train?

A: Yes, there will.

B: Can I have a ticket for the car park as well?

A: That'll be thirty two pounds in all.
