Обобщающий открытый урок английского языка по теме «США. Мифы и факты» 8 класс

Цели: углубление и закрепление знаний о стране изучающего языка.

Задачи:

Обучающие:

1. Контроль знаний учащихся по теме «Соединенные Штаты Америки»;

2. отработка лексики по теме «Страноведение»;

3. знакомство с традициями и обычаями страны изучаемого языка.

Развивающие:

1. расширение кругозора учащихся;

2. развитие мотивации к изучению английского языка.

Воспитательные:

воспитание уважительного отношения к другим странам и национальностям и их традициям.

Оснащение урока: карта США, фотографии с достопримечательностями США, индивидуальные карточки (свитки) по теме «История Америки», мультимедиа, листы с заданиями (стикеры).

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент. Приветствие.

2. Вступительное слово учителя: сообщение темы урока.

T: Look at the board. You can see a map here. What country is it?

Что это за страна? Как ее называют?

St1: The United States of America.

T: Right. The theme of our lesson is «The Unites States of America». Today we are going to have an interesting lesson

(Звучит мелодия "America the beautiful!")

Teacher: - Who knows this music?

Pupil- This is the national anthem of America.

Teacher- Yes, sure! "America the beautiful". Americans love their country and now we'll have a trip to America and you'll tell everything what you know about this country, it's history, customs and traditions. Which are the myths and which are the facts? Let us find out!

Teacher: Before our trip I want to ask you some questions about the USA.
