Тема: «Хочешь ли ты посетить Лондон? Сравнительное употребление Present Simple и Present Progressive»


Обучающие цели:

Фонетика: тренировка произносительных навыков;

Лексика: повторение и активизация лексического материала по данной тематике;

Развитие лексико - грамматических навыков;

Совершенствование навыков аудирования и навыков диалогической речи;

Познакомить учащихся со сравнительным употреблением PresentSimple и PresentProgressive.

Развивающие цели:

Развитие внимания и логики на основе услышанного;

Развитие универсальных учебных действий, умение строить диалогическое высказывание с опорой на схему, что способствует формированию коммуникативной компетенции;

Развитие навыка работы в парах;

Развитие навыка само и взаимоконтроля.

Практические цели:

Умение вести интервью;

Научить различать "Present Simple and Present Continuous" в устной и письменной речи;

Выполнение тренировочных упражнений на закрепление материала.

Воспитательные цели: Воспитать у учащихся интерес к дальнейшему изучению грамматики английского языка;

Умение работать в коллективе, воспитание толерантного отношения друг к другу.

Оборудование: компьютер, дидактический материал, микрофон.

Greet each other and don't forget to make a compliment.


II Введение в тему (слайд с изображением Лондона, Present Simple, Present Continuous)

What are we going to speak about today? Right you are. We are going to speak about London and compare Present Simple and Present Continuous.


III Фонетическаязарядка. (корзинка) It's our basket of proverbs. Are there any proverbs in it on the theme London? - An Englishman's house is his castle. East or West home is best.

Let's revise the others. Complete them.

  1. Homework dialogue. You prepared the dialogue at home. Act it out.You are welcome. (a correspondent and a pupil are talking)

- Would you like to visit London?

- Sure. It's one of the most famous and interesting cities in Europe.

- What places would you like to see there?

- Let me see… I think I would visit Trafalgar Square.

V Grammar Present Simple/ Present Continuous compared

If you want to visit London you must speak English very well and of course you must know English grammar. Do you like English grammar? Why? Why not?

  1. Today we are going to compare Present Simple and Present Continuous. But first let's have a rest. Stand up. The song «What is he doing?»

  2. Какое время использовалось в песенке? - Present Continuous.

Какие действия описывает?

Как образуется? (a card) Give the ing form: read-reading, sing - singing etc

Спутники этого времени? - P2: Now, at the moment…etc.


  1. Comment on what you are doing. Clap your hands. What are you doing? …, play the musical instrument etc.

  2. Look at the screen and say what they are doing. (анимированные картинки)


  1. А какое время мы используем, когда описываем регулярно повторяющиеся действия? - Present Simple.

Какaя форма выражает это время, как образуются отрицания, вопросы?

Назовите спутников этого времени.

Say what you usually do or don't do in the evening. Give the examples. Use the list of word combinations. And what about your Mum?

  • Игра «Глухой телефон» (групп делится на команды, составляют предложения в Present Simple, начинает сильный ученик).

  1. Define the tense (карточки: has, am writing, are, takes etc.)

  2. Read the text and fill in the table with the verbs in Pres. S./ Pres.Cont. from the text. Exchange the papers, check up, put the marks.

I am in the park. I am sitting on the bench at the moment. It is hot . I don't like hot weather. But Roger is playing tennis with his friend. They are running. They are having fun. They like this weather.

  2. Video. Watch a video and put the sentences in the right order, work in pairs. Watch it the second time, don't look at the screen.
