Урок английского языка
Тема «London Zoo»
Урок разработан с использованием технологии «Развитие критического мышления через чтение и письмо» (стратегия «Зигзаг», приемы «Синквейн», «Кластер»), проектной технологии (реклама, письмо, презентация), технологии разно-уровневого дифференцированного обучения.

Цели:

воспитательная: воспитание культуры общения;

образовательная: повышение интереса к процессу обучения и активного восприятия учебного материала;

развивающие: развитие умения сопоставлять, сравнивать, анализировать и синтезировать полученную информацию, развитие умения делать выводы из результатов исследовательской деятельности.

Оборудование: раздаточный материал (текст для чтения (в 3 частях), разрезная реклама, незавершенное письмо), записи на доске, бумага формата А3, мультимедиа (незавершенная презентация к уроку).
I.Организационная часть
Приветствие
Сообщение темы урока: Today we are going to read and discuss the text about London Zoo and prepare to write a topic on the theme.
II. Основная часть
Стадия «Вызов».
Цель данного этапа урока: актуализация имеющихся знаний, выявление затруднений и пробелов в знаниях. Итог - постановка целей учебной деятельности.
Прием - «Синквейн», «Кластер»

At last lesson you got a letter from your English pen-friend. (Приложение 1) What did he ask you about? (Could you tell me something about London Zoo?) Quite right! So, today we are talking about London Zoo.
Can you tell me the topic of our lesson? Make up a poem. Use the scheme.
Составление синквейна.
1строка - название темы.
2 строка - описание темы (2 прилагательных).
3 строка - характеристика темы через действие (3 глагола).
4 строка - фраза, выражающая отношение автора синквейна к теме.
5 строка - одно слово-синоним к теме.

«Смысловая стадия».
Цель: поддержать активное восприятие изучаемого материала, расширить знания по теме, разрешить противоречия, возникшие на стадии вызова.
Прием - «Кластер».
Let's read the texts to find new information. Work in your groups. Then change the information in expert groups. You have 10 minutes. (Приложение 2)
1. Учащиеся получают по 1/3 текста о лондонском зоопарке, объединяются в кооперативные группы, начинают работать.
2. Расходятся в экспертные группы, сообщают, что узнали при работе в кооперативных группах, обсуждают полный текст, в процессе работы заполняют кластер найденной информацией (промежуточная рефлексия).
III Итог урока
Стадия «Рефлексия».
Цель: суммировать и систематизировать новую информацию, оценить ее, поставить новые цели учебной деятельности.
Прием - «Кластер», мини-проект

Выполнение проектных творческих заданий в разно-уровневых группах (собрать рекламу (Приложение 3), дописать письмо (Приложение 4), завершить презентацию (Приложение 7)) с использованием кластера.

Презентация выполненной работы у доски представителем от каждой группы.

Подготовка к сообщению по теме «Лондонский зоопарк» с использованием кластера, полученного в результате совместной работы учащихся на уроке.

Для учащихся с высокой познавательной активностью предложить задания повышенной сложности на базе того же текста.

Teacher: Thank you very much. We were active today. So, we've done a great work. Can we use this cluster? Can it help us to fill the gaps in the text and do homework? Your home task is to write a topic and learn it.

I also traveled a lot this summer. I was in Scotland and learned a lot about mysterious Loch Ness Monster. I wish I were in London and visited the London Zoo.

London Zoo
London has a very fine old Zoo. The home of London Zoo is Regent's Park which is not far from the centre of London. They say exotic animals were first taken to Britain in the thirteenth century when King Henry III received a gift of leopards and elephants. The animals lived in the Tower of London in a special place. Later the king of Norway presented Henry III with a polar bear. The bear liked to go fishing in the Thames at the end of a long rope. Five hundred years later (eighteenth century), Queen Charlotte was given the first zebra. She kept it near Buckingham House. Curious people came there to see it. Giraffes have been an attraction at London Zoo since 1839. Soon the giraffes were moved to Regent's Park.
London Zoo is the most famous British Zoo now. Today there are more than twelve thousands of exotic animals at London Zoo. A lot of children with their parents and friends visit it every day. It is open in 1847 Many old trees grow in the park, and in spring, summer and autumn there are a lot of beautiful flowers there too. Different kinds of animals live there: elephants, giraffes, sea-lions and polar bears, brown bears and foxes, big and little monkeys and birds. Some of them have very beautiful bright colours. In the Children's Zoo children can watch, talk to and touch young animals. The fishes are in a great glass box. There are many different kinds of beautiful fishes there. It is very interesting.
A good time to visit the animals is when they take their food. Then you can see how the sea-lions catch their fish. The man who looks after the animals sometimes throws a fish into the water, then the sea-lions jump into the water and get the fish there. In the large monkey house you can see different kinds of monkeys. They jump, run and play with each other. In the park there are camels. Children love to sit on a camel's back when it walks in the square. They also like to watch the elephant when he washes himself in the morning. He puts water on his back and men with long brushes make him very clean.
