Создание положительной установки на дальнейшее изучение английского языка, пробуждая интерес к жизни и культуре страны, изучить новую лексику, правило образования степеней сравнения многосложных прилагательных

Ход урока.
I. Организационный момент. Проверка готовности к уроку.
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you!
Pupils:
Good morning, good morning! Good morning to you!
Good morning, good morning! We are glad to see you!
Teacher: Sit down, please. Let us begin our lesson!
- How are you? (We are fine, thanks.)
- Who is on duty today? (I am on duty today.)
- What date is it today? (Today is the 16th of
February. Today is the Tuesday.)
- Who is absent? (All are present.)
- Children, what season is it now? (It is winter now.)
-What are autumn months? (December, January and February.)
- What is the weather like today? (It is cold and windy today.)
- All right! Thank you.
II. Фонетическая зарядка.
- Teacher: Look at the blackboard, please. There are some words
on it. Who wants to read them? Will you start, Kate?
Учитель привлекает внимание к словам на доске.

Ученики читают слова вслух, затем учитель просит прочитать слова по цепочке. Учитель исправляет неточности произношения слов.
Teacher: Thank you, children. Now please, name the animals (eagle,
dolphin…). Name the words with the sound [s] (sea, snake). Read the
names of animals' homes (ocean, desert, river, sea).

III. Речевая разминка.
- There are different kinds of animals: domestic and wild animals, birds and fish. Look at the names of animals and choose the odd one in each line.

a whale, a fish, a crocodile, a dolphin
- Animals live all over the world. It's time to remember their homes. I'll show you some pictures and you must name the animals that live in these places. Use the example:

IV. Отработка грамматического материала.
- Как образуются степени сравнения у английских прилагательных?
- Fill in the gaps with the missing forms.
(Учащиеся заполняют пропуски самостоятельно. Для проверки на экране
появляются правильные варианты, ученики обмениваются карточками и
проверяют работы одноклассников, выставляя оценки в соответствии с
полученными баллами: 10-9 баллов = «5», 8-7 баллов = «4», 6-5
баллов = «3», 4-0 баллов = «2»).
V. Физминутка.
- It's time to have a rest. Let's listen to a song, watch and repeat the actions.
VI. Развитие навыков аудирования.
- Many people have pets: cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits and so on. But some people have very unusual pets. Let's listen to Dima's story about the animal he would like to have.
Учащиеся прослушивают аудиозапись и отвечают на вопрос "What animal would Dima like to have?".
- Check your answers! Listen to this story once more.
Дети прослушивают данное упражнение при помощи компьютерной программы. Затем выполняют тест и задание на заполнение пропусков.
Teacher: And now children, you will hear the text. You must listen to it carefully and be ready to talk about the pet that Dima would like to have. (ex 40, page 46)
Teacher: So, what animal would Dima like to have?
Pupil1: He would like to have a dolphin. It's smart.
Pupil2: Dima would like to have a dolphin. I think it's as wonderful animal. It can swim, dive and jump.
Teacher: And what animal would you like to have?
Pupil 1: I would like to have a dog. It's clever and brave. I would like to go for a walk with my dog.
Teacher: Thank you very much. Look at the screen. You are going to read the text and your task will be to match its parts and the pictures. ( ex 41, page 46) Key 1c, 2d, 3a, 4b.
Teacher: Well, I have chosen 2 animals for you. Look at the screen. You can see them on the whiteboard. One of you must describe the animal without naming it. The rest of the class will try to guess.
Pupil2: It lives in Australia. It has got a long tail and strong legs. It can jump well. It likes to eat grass and leaves. It's a nice funny animal. I like it very much. ( it's a kangaroo)
Pupil3: It lives in the mountains. It has strong wings. It can fly high in the sky. It eats mice and small birds. It's strong and brave.( it's an eagle)
VII. Диалогическая речь.
Teacher: Ask your classmate about his/her favourite pet. Answer his questions too. Work in pairs. You can see some questions on the blackboard. Use them into your conversation.

Учащиеся составляют диалог и озвучивают его.
VIII. Развитие навыков монологической речи.
- What animal would you like to have? Why? Make up your stories. Use the plan:

It lives …… .
It can …… .
I think it's ……. (the best friend / a wonderful animal / the funniest animal).
Несколько учащихся представляют свои рассказы.
IX.Подведение итогов урока, этап рефлексии.
Teacher: Do you like our lesson? How are you? Pupils: I am fine. I am 50*50. I am bad.
- What did you like most in the lesson? What was interesting? (I liked the dialogues. I liked reading about animals.)
- What was the most useful/ boring activity for you in the lesson?
- Were you successful today? Kate, how do you think what mark will you get today in English? (I think I'll get 5!)
Учащиеся оценивают свою деятельность на уроке и деятельность одноклассников. Учитель выставляет оценки и комментирует.
- Your task for the next lesson: ex.7 p.49. Write a small story about your favourite animal.
That is all for today. You may collect your things. Now it is
time to recite the poem.
