Развёрнутый план урока по английскому языку в 8 классе по теме «The World's Best Friend is You» (использование метода презентации на уроке английского языка)

Предлагаемый Вашему вниманию урок является итоговым в цикле уроков по теме «Окружающая среда». Данный урок может быть использован при контроле навыков монологической речи. В течение нескольких лет мы учили учащихся работать творчески, выражать и отстаивать личную точку зрения. Подготовка презентаций вызывает интерес у учащихся, а как результат, повышает мотивацию и качество обучения.

Тема - «Environmental Protection»

Цель урока - развитие (и частичный контроль) навыков монологической речи.

Задачи урока:

- Развивающие: развивать способности осмысленного восприятия и рационального распределения внимания, логического изложения содержания высказывания, формирование выводов из прочитанного и услышанного, развивать коммуникабельность, способность выражения своего отношения к окружающей среде и экологии, способности к самостоятельному труду, аргументировать собственное мнение, развивать познавательную активность, презентовать накопленные материалы.

- Учебные: развитие навыков и умений всех видов речевой деятельности

1.Чтение с извлечением полезной информации (подготовка презентации)

2. Аудирование (прослушивание презентаций)

3. Говорение (презентация работ)

4. Письмо (при подведении итогов урока составление экологических правил)

- Воспитательные: развивать способности формулирования гражданской позиции и чувства ответственности за экологию и окружающую среду, воспитание чувства любви и бережного отношения к окружающей среде.

- Оснащение урока: постер, лозунги, плакаты и девиз урока, стихотворение для речевой разминки, диаграммы, раздаточный материал.

Тип урока - урок обобщения и систематизации знаний.

Деятельность учителя и учащихся:

1.Орг. момент. (1 мин.)

- Good morning pupils! Glad to see you! Sit down, please. Today we will speak about different environmental problems. The word "environment" means simply what is around us: the air we breathe, the soil on which we stand and walk the water we drink. These are all parts of the environment. Nowadays people understand how important it is to solve the environmental problems that endanger people's life.

2.1 Речевая разминка. (3 мин.) Повторение пройденной лексики: nouns (can, danger, rubbish, pollution), verbs (pack, prohibit, throw, avoid), adjectives (least, recyclable, recycling, throwaway), expressions (air pollution, be polluted, clear litter away).

1.What are the most serious environmental problems mentioned in the poem?

2. What does the phrase "change to green" mean? (вопросы написаны на доске). Учащиеся прослушивают стих по магнитофону:

Rub your eyes and look around,

Litter lying on the ground,

Bottles, cans and polythene -

Take the tip and change to green!

Forests going up in smoke,

Cities fit to make you choke,

Nowhere left to be that's clean -

Take a breathe and change to green!

Animals and plants have died,

People starve to feed our pride,

For the life that might have been

Take a stand and charge to green!

There is so much that is not right,

It could get you well uptight,

So make a start and change the scene

The lights are flashing - change to green!

Pupils: (suggested answers)

1.Littering, air pollution, disappearing animals and plants.

2. Many animals and flowers have become rare and vanish. Our useful insects: bees, butterflies, dragonflies can't live in the atmosphere of chemicals and pesticides. Excessive radiation and transport are harmful to people and animals. The progress of science has caused global disasters. When air, soil and water become dirty, we say it is polluted. It is very dangerous for us. We must save our nature.

2.2 Показ презентаций. (контроль домашнего задания) 25 - 30 минут

Teacher: I think you understand how it is important to think more about the nature. Now we are going to listen to your presentations. The task for the rest of you is to listen and to think if our region is ecofriendly and what can be improved. (Учащиеся были поделены на группы и заранее работали над своими презентациями - постерами. На данном этапе урока ученики представляют результаты своей работы. Пока представители одной группы докладывают (3-5 мин.), остальные учащиеся обдумывают вопросы. Происходит обсуждение.

3. Chemical waste

4. Litter and wastes (см. учебник Биболетовой «Enjoy English - 5» ex.14 p.44)

-What can teens do to keep water clean?

- Air pollution is a great problem. What can people do to make it clean?

- Why can we say that chemical wastes are really dangerous for people? Give all possible arguments.

- Litter and wastes. Why throw away? Why not recycle?

2.3 Обобщение по теме презентаций. (5 мин.)

Teacher: And now try to make a conclusion why is it so necessary to keep the environment clean. What environmental problems should be solved?

Pupils: (suggested answers)

All the problems are really important not only to people of our country, but to all the people in the world. It is necessary to plant trees, to feed birds in winter. Air pollution is a great problem not only in our country, but all over the world. Somehow buses and cars are the sources of air pollution. We know that some kinds of chemical wastes, litter and wastes should be recycle.

3. Заключительный этап урока.

3.1 Составление экологических правил. (3 - 4 мин.)

Teacher: Of course governments of different countries pay much attention to environmental problems but much depends on us. Let's make the Code of Ecological. Rules for everybody.

Pupils: (suggested answers)

-Never drop litter in the street.

- Sort rubbish: use special containers for paper, tins, food; white glass, brown glass and green glass.

- Don't spray chemicals!

- Use less paper.

- Save energy. Use less electricity and gas.

- Have showers, not baths. Showers use less water.

- Don't leave fire in the forests.

- Change our attitude to the nature.

3.2 Подведение итогов (1 мин.).

Teacher: Summing up everything that have been said we must say: our nature and the Earth in general are very sensitive to the human's activity. What else can you mention?

Pupils: (suggested answers)

People all over the world including us must be very careful with our unique planet and its nature to preserve it for our children and future generations.

3.3 Объяснение домашнего задания. (1 мин.)

Teacher: I want to ask you to find some information about Greenpeace and to make a short report.

3.4 Выставление оценок. (2 мин.)

Учитель объективно и аргументированно выставляет оценки за урок, учитывая работу каждого ученика: проект, вопросы, выводы, объяснения.
