Тема урока: «Традиции и обычаи Великобритании».

Цели урока:

  1. Обобщить материал по теме;

  2. Углубить и расширить знания по теме;

  3. Способствовать формированию коммуникативной компетенции;

  4. Совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком по данной теме.

Задачи урока:

Обучающие:

  1. Повторить материал по данной теме;

  2. Способствовать формированию у учащихся навыков лингвострановедческой компетенции;

  3. Используя информационные технологии, активизировать деятельность каждого учащегося в процессе обучения, создать ситуации для их творческой активности.

Развивающие:

  1. Развивать познавательный интерес, инициативу в осуществлении иноязычной речевой деятельности;

  2. Развивать мышление, память, внимание, восприятие, воображение;

  3. Развивать навыки самостоятельной работы и мотивацию к дальнейшему овладению иноязычной культурой.

Воспитательные:

  1. Воспитывать уважение к культуре и традициям других народов;

  2. Воспитывать ответственность, прививать навыки работы в коллективе.

Good morning, students! The theme of our lesson is "Customs and traditions of GB" and your home task was to revise customs and traditions of this country. At this lesson we'll revise this information, then you'll do some tasks.

You know that the tradition of this day is sending Valentine cards. On the picture you can see different Valentine cards. They may be post cards or hand-made. But I'd like you to write best wishes for you sweethearts on these Valentine cards. I'll give you 5min, and then we'll listen all of you

1. They are usually made of chocolate. They are either hollow or have a filling and are usually covered with brightly colored silver paper.
