A Little Grey Bird

There lives a little grey bird in the forest. She is not happy, because she is very small and is not beautiful. And she can't sing.

One evening the little grey bird sits in a tree near a blue lake. The moon comes out and its silver light dances on the small blue waves(волны). The moonlight sings about how wonderful it is to play with the waves.

The little grey bird listens. Every night the little bird flies back to the lake to hear the songs of the moonlight(лунный свет). After that she can sing those songs very well too.

At first her voice trembles. But then it grows stronger. All the forest can hear it. And you can hear her songs too, when the evenings are warm and the moon is bright. It is the nightingale(соловей).
