Открытый урок английского языка в 7 классе.

Topic: " People I am proud of"

УМК « Английский язык» (7класс) В.П. Кузовлева, Н.М. Лапа, Э.Ш. Перегудовой. Учитель: Вараксина Надежда Афанасьевна.

Цели:

Учебный аспект: активизировать изученную лексику по теме в речи учащихся; тренировать фонетические компетенции; развивать навыки письма; практиковаться в монологической и диалогической речи; актуализировать грамматические навыки.

Развивающий аспект: развивать коммуникативные навыки; развивать широту взглядов, компетенции самостоятельной работы; развивать творческое самостоятельное мышление у учащихся; формировать компетенции самостоятельного поиска, анализа и оценки информации.

Воспитывающий аспект: воспитывать умение взаимодействовать и сотрудничать в коллективе, приходить к общему решению; развивать интерес к изучению иностранного языка; воспитывать у учащихся интерес к выдающимся деятелям Великобритании и России и других стран; воспитывать ответственность друг за друга.

Учебные пособия: компьютер, мультипроектор.

Ход урока

Начало урока. Teacher: Good morning, children! Pupils: Good morning, teacher! Teacher: How are you today? Pupils: Fine, thanks. And you? Teacher: I' m fine, thank you. Sit down!

Now, let's start our lesson, but first of all answer my questions, please. 1. Who is on duty today?

2. Who is absent today?

3. What date is it today?

4. What day of the week is it today? 5. What is the weather like today? 6. Is it sunny or cloudy today? 7. What season is it now? ( учащиеся отвечают на вопросы) Teacher: Today we have an unusual lesson. The quests are present at our lesson

( приветствие гостей) and you, students, have to listen to me attentively and work hard today. II. Фонетическая зарядка.

First of all we'll practice our tongues

[t] cosmonaut, politician, scientist, architect, sportsman

[r] profession, astronaut, playwright, attractive, legendary

[w] warrior, well- mannered


III. Речевая зарядка.

Finish my statements:

1. Yuri Gagarin was the first … (to orbit the Earth)

2. Tereshkova was the first woman … ( to orbit the Earth)

3. Columbus was the last … (to come to Central America)

4. Boris Pasternak is the only Russian writer … (to get the Nobel Prize for literature)

IV. Повторение пройденных слов.

Give me the word meaning:

  • to like somebody greatly (to admire, to adore)

  • pretty, beautiful (attractive, good-looking)

  • courageous (brave)

  • how can we call a person who fly in the space (cosmonaut, pilot)

  • a person who writes music (a composer, musician)

  • a person who sings songs (a singer)

  • a person who makes laws (a politician)

  • a person who invents something, makes investigations (a scientist)

  • a person who goes in for sport ( a sportsman)

  • a person who is famous for a long time (legendary)

Repeat these words after me.

V. Работа над целями урока. Teacher: Today we are going to speak about famous people of Great Britain, Russia and other countries. Now, look at the blackboard! Here you can see the title of the lesson: " People I am proud of". Is this topic interesting and important for you? Pupils: Yes, it is. Teacher: Well, let's think about our objectives for today. Think a little and tell how you are planning to improve your English at the lesson.

What would you like to do today?

Objectives of the lesson:

  1. to develop reading and speaking skills;

  2. to speak English with my friends;

  3. to develop auditory skills;

  4. to get new information about famous Russian and British, American people.

VI. Активизация речевой деятельности учащихся. Teacher: OK. Let's continue our work. We know, each nation has its heroes. People of different professions can be the pride of any country. Famous people came to their fame by different ways. They can be examples to follow. There are a lot of people who became famous when they were young. We can see many monuments, museums, galleries that honour famous people all over the world. Do you agree with me?

Pupils: Yes, we do. Teacher: Now, answer my questions

Do you have an example to follow?

What famous people do you know?

Who is the pride of your country?

Who are the British proud of? Why?

What kind of person was he/she?

Who do you admire?

Who can you call a hero?

Teacher: What can you tell your foreign friends about famous Russian people?

VII. Актуализация грамматического материала (придаточное определительное с союзным словом whose). Работа по карточкам (устно).

VIII. Развитие навыков чтения с полным пониманием читаемого.

Teacher: Read one of the texts(A, B, or C)and do the tasks. Ex.1.1), p. 137

Make up a story about the life of the famous person using the outline.
