The theme of the lesson: Verbs. Letter Ii

The aim: Teaching new lexical word-verbs. Letter Ii. Verbs are: Jump,run,sleep,smile. New letter is- Ii. Teaching the animal according to the letter Ii- iguana. Teaching a word structure I have. Also to develop the children`s listening and speaking skills. To ove their own bodies and do the physical exercises every day.

materials and visual aids: Colourful crayons, and flashcards, pictures of animal (Iguana), pictures of parts of body.

1. Org.moment. greeting.

-hello, children!

-hello,teacher!

-how are you?

-I am fine and you?

-I am fine, thank you sit down please!

2. children, let`s play" foxy says"game

Foxy says: show me your nose, ears, hands, legs, fingers, toes…

Children show the nose, ears, fingers… when they hear from a teacher.

3. Letter from a foxy.

There is a letter from foxy:

Hello, children!

How are you? I am foxy, I want to teach new words: jump, run, sleep,smile. I think you will learn and enjoy English language, thank you good bye!

Children listen to the teacher reading a letter from foxy. And learn the verbs repeating after the teacher.

4. 5 minute break time.

Children stand up and do the exercise.

Sit down! Stand up!

Then jump, then run.

Then sleep, Then smile.

And let`s have fun.

Give out practice writing worksheets- Ii.
