Урок английского языка в 4 классе по теме «Мой дом» с использованием компьютерных технологий

Цели и задачи урока:

  1. обобщение и систематизация ранее изученных слов и выражений по теме;

  2. активизация грамматического материала (конструкция there is/there are);

  3. использование в речи предлогов места;

  4. тренировка навыков чтения,слушания, умения высказывать свое мнение по теме;

  5. развитие лексического мышления,творческого воображения, внимания;

  6. воспитание чувства прекрасного, умение выслушать собеседника, привитие любви к своему дому;

  7. демонстрация использования компьютерных технологий на уроке английского языка.

Оборудование: компьютеры, карточки с заданиями, лото по теме "Мебель", карточки с номерами, карточки с предлогами, звёздочки-жетоны, мультимедийное оборудование.

Примечание: урок проводится в компьютерном классе в виде соревнования на лучшего знатока темы. За каждое правильно выполненное задание ученику выдаётся звёздочка-жетон. Кто набрал больше звёздочек, объявляется победителем, ему вручается медаль "THE WINNER".

Ход урока

  1. Организационный момент. Беседа с дежурным.

T: - Good morning, dear children! I am glad to see you!

Ch:- Good morning, my teacher!

Good morning, good morning
Good morning to you!
Good morning, good morning!
We are glad to see you!

  • Who is on duty today?

  • What date is it today?

  • What day of the week is it today?

  • What season is it now?

  • Do you live in a house or in a flat?

  • Is your house big or little?

  • Do you have your room?

  • What furniture do you have in your room?

  • Is your furniture comfortable?


T: -I hope you are fine. Today we will have the competition and know who will become the best in our topic " Home sweet home". Let's begin. We read the rhyme.

One, two - it s a house;
Three, four - that s a mouse
Five, six - it s a flat;
Seven, eight - that s a cat;
Nine, ten, nine, ten,
Will you count things again?
Ten, nine - it s a bed;
Eight, seven - that s a flat;
Six, five - they are flowers;
Four, three - are they ours?
Two and one, two and one,
Little children, have a fun!

T:- Now let's remember the names of the rooms we have in our houses and flats.

На доске написаны названия комнат. Учитель зачитывает небольшие рассказы - описание различных комнат. Ученики, прослушав рассказ, поднимают табличку с номером.

1 - a kitchen

2- a bedroom

3- a living room

4 - a bathroom

5 - a hall

6 - a study

Примерные рассказы:

  1. People can prepare breakfast, dinner in this room. We have a fridge, a table, a cooker and a cupboard in this room. (a kitchen)

  2. There are beds or a sofa in this room. You can see a little table and a wardrobe there. People have a rest in this room. (a bedroom)

  3. This room is not very large. We have a bath in this room. You can clean your teeth, wash your hands and face there.(a bathroom)

  4. There is a TV-set, some chairs and a sofa in this room. Some people have a fireplace there. There is a carpet on the floor. It is usually the largest room in the house. People watch television, listen to music or sit around and speak there. (a living room)

  5. You can see a table, a chair and some shelves on the wall in this room. You can read books, do your homework or write a letter in this room. (a study)

  6. This room is not very large. People take off their overcoats, hats, boots or shoes there. There is usually a mirror and a little table there. (a hall)


T:- Next task is to name the odd word:

kitchen, bedroom, window, living room

table, sofa, between, chair, bed

radio, mirror, TV-set,lamp

big, fireplace, clean, nice


Musical warming up.

T:- Let's revise our English alphabet and sing the song about it.


T:- Well done. Next task is to complete the words with the letters and to translate them:

H_ll, kit_ hen, b_droom, bath _ oom, t_ble, cha_r, fl_or, f_replace, ca_pet, a_mchair.


T:- The English people say: "My home is my castle". Let s remember the English proverbs and sayings about the place we live in.



T:- It's time to remember our grammar material. When do you use there is/there are?

Next task is to fill in IS or ARE.

1. There ___bedrooms in the house.

2. There ___doors in the hall.

3. There ___ no windows in the hall.

4. There ___ a kitchen in the house.

5. There ___ a living room in the house.

6. There ___ a study in the house.

7. There ___ two windows in the room.

T:- Let's sing the song and do some physical exercises.


T:- I know you painted pictures of your rooms at home and you want to show and describe

them us.
