Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку. Интеллектуальная игра по теме "Рождество"

Цели:

• Обучающая: Систематизировать знания учащихся по теме «Рождество».

• Развивающая: развить коммуникативные навыки и навыки письменной речи по теме.

• Воспитательная: сформировать у учащихся познавательный интерес и уважение к истории стран изучаемого языка; расширить кругозор учащихся.

Задачи:

• Тренировать учащихся в чтении с полным пониманием прочитанного.

• Учить учащихся выполнять различные лексико-грамматические упражнения.

• Учить учащихся логическому построению устных высказываний на английском языке по теме.

• Развивать навыки аудирования, говорения, письма.

Оснащение мероприятия: ноутбук, проектор с экраном, колонки; раздаточный материал; аудиозапись песни 'Jingle Bells', ёлка, ёлочные украшения, подарки.

Ход мероприятия:

Ведущий 1: Good day, dear guests! Welcome to our Christmas party! Many-many years ago Jesus Christ was born. So this was the birthday of Christ. And since that time people began to celebrate his birthday and named this holiday Christmas.

Ведущий 2: And as every birthday it became a good, kind and bright family holiday. Not only small children but people of all age wait for this day.

Стук в дверь. Входит Дед Мороз с ёлкой.

Дед Мороз: Oh, good evening, my dear friends! Do you know who I am? What did I bring you? (Показать на ёлку). You know, I'm in a hurry and I don't have time to give all the children my presents. And I can't decorate the Christmas tree by myself. Can you help me? Would you like to decorate it?

Ведущий 1: Ok, friends! Let's help Father Frost. I'll divide you in two groups. And Father Frost will give you special tasks. For each right task you'll get a toy. And at the end of our party we'll see how many toys you've got.

Ведущий 2: As you know, the topic of our party is "Christmas", so the 1^st task will be to find 10 words to the topic 'Christmas' which are hidden in this wordsearch. The words are up and down, and diagonal.

Дед Мороз: Children, I've got a message from Africa but unfortunately I lost my glasses and can't read it. Divide the line into the words and make up the sentence, please.

Дед Мороз: My dear friends, I've prepared presents for kids but I've got a bad memory and have forgotten how much presents I have. Please, help me to count them.

Ведущий 1: Now it's high time to check how you can translate from Russian into English. Guess the crossword.

(Учащимся предлагается решить кроссворд)

Дед Мороз: Dear friends, I have a wonderful magic hat where you can find gifts, but I've lost it and still can't find it. Please, find my magic hat and guess what presents I've put there. But U can't look at them, U may only touch them. You'll touch the gift and say what it is.

(Дети на ощупь определяют, что за подарок есть в шапке)

Ведущий 2: Well done! The next task for you is to complete the sentences.

Ведущий 1: I see you are a little bit tired. So, let's play and have a rest! You can see a rope with sweets. U are to cut the rope and then U'll get a sweet. But your eyes will be closed. Ready?

(Конкурс с конфетами)

Дед Мороз: Kids, I have a note from Finland but I can't read it because the letters were mixed at the post-office. Will you help me? Make up words and word combinations.

(Из перепутанных букв дети составляют слова и словосочетания)

Ведущий 2: And the last task of our game is to find the word which is not suitable.

(Ученики ищут лишнее слово)

Ведущий 1: Our party is coming to the end. But before we say Good bye, let's wish your friends and teachers something good and kind for the coming New Year and Christmas. We have a box with different wishes. Please, take one and read it out.

Ведущий 2: This is the end of our game and it's time to count the points and see how well you decorated the Christmas tree. And the winner is…

Дед Мороз: Thank you for your help, children! Now, my Christmas tree is very beautiful! I've prepared gifts for you. And now, let's sing a Christmas song all together!
