The theme of the lesson: School rules

The aims of the lesson: "must, mustn't" in speech;

- to develop pupil's abilities in oral speech and reading;

- to teach pupils to respect each other and to be polite;

- to develop skills', knowledge

Type of the lesson: The lesson of new information.

Methods: Interactive, demonstrative, reflective, oral, method of searching.

Visual aids of the lesson: interactive board, book, chalk, cards.

I Organization moment

  • Stand up! Good morning, children.

  • Good morning , teacher.

  • How are you?

  • Who is duty today?

  • Who is absent?

  • What date is it today?

  • What day of the week is it?

  • Thank you very much. Sit down.

II Checking up the home task.

-Well , what was your home task for today? Are you ready?

-Repeat all the theme.

I. New lesson

Work in a group . Write as many words as you can connected with school.

Read some school rules. Tick those which are the same in your school.

School rules

You must:

do your homework on time - ұй тапсырмасын өз уақытында орындау

arrive at school at half past one - 1.30 сабаққа бару

wear a uniform - мектеп формасында келу

bring a letter from your parents if you missed your lesson - түсінік хат алып келу ата-анадан егер сабаққа келмесең

stand up when a teacher comes into the classroom - орнынан түру мұғалім сыныпқа кіргенде

Your mustn't:

be late for the lessons - сабаққа кешікпеу

III Now, pupils today we'll take Grammar material.

Modal verb: Must, Mustn't

1.Remember: Модальды етістіктен кейінгі мағыналық етістік to- шылауы қолданылады. Ex. He must do his homework. She must do it.

Модальді етістіктерден кейін 3-жақтағы жекеше мағыналық етістіктерде - s, ( es) жалғауы болмайды.

Ex. She must do it.

2. do/does сөйлемде қолданылмайды.

Ex. Can I help you? What should I do?

3."Must' -қажеттілік пен міндеттемелер тұралы айтқанда айтушының ойы ретінде қолданылады.

Ex. I must cut my hair. You really must work hard.

IV. Doing exercises.

Complete the sentences with must and mustn't and translate them into your language.

Exercise 3 p. 111

a. We ----------- bring CD players to school.

b. We ----------- have a dictionary at the English lesson.

C We ----------- stay at school until 2 o'clock.

Exercise 4 p.111 What do we use after must and mustn't ? Complate the table with the correct form of the verb.

</<font color="#000000">Text: I don't have to get up early in the morning. I have to start work at 11 o'clock in the morning or at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. I don't have to work on Wednesdays, but I have to work at Weekend. That's the busiest time. I have to serve meals and I have to be polite to customers.

I have to wear short - sleeved white shirt, black trousers and a nametag. I love my job.

V . Consolidation of the lesson.

Then I showed to the pupils a video about the school rules, classroom rules and others.

Pupils are retelling about the video.

Now, Pupils today we discussed about much school rules:

Please, say what must we do, and mustn't do at school. Have you any questions to me, Did you understand me? If you have any questions, please ask, me!

VI. Evaluation: Pupils, You are very activity today. You are all of them very well.

I think that you are ready.

VII. Home work: Ex 8 page. 112.

To learn the school rules.
