Тема урока: «Professions», 5 класс

Цель: развивать коммуникативные навыки по теме «Professions».

Задачи:

  1. Познавательная - продолжить знакомство учащихся с современными профессиями;

  2. Развивающая - развивать способности к выбору выражений адекватных ситуации общения, к формулированию выводов;

  3. Воспитательная - воспитывать положительное отношение к труду людей разных профессий, умение работать в группе;

  4. Учебная - развивать лексические и грамматические навыки говорения: умение читать с разными стратегиями и воспринимать на слух иноязычную речь.

Оборудование: интерактивная доска, раздаточный материал.

Форма проведения:

Технологии: ИКТ, здоровьесберегающая, групповая.

Ход урока

  1. Оргмомент.

  • Good morning, children! How are you?

  • OK, take your seats, please. Let,s start our lesson.

  • Look at the screen, please. What can you see on the pictures?

  • How do you think, what,s the theme of our lesson?

  • Yes, you are right. Our aim is…….

  • What should we know to learn this theme?

  • Names of jobs;

  • Qualities;

  • Some other words and expressions about professions.

  • Look at the screen. There are some pictures. Listen, repeat and remember.

  • Good, now drag the words to the pictures and read the words.

  • Let,s check your answers. Well done!

  • Next task. There are some words and some sounds. You should mach the words and the sounds (businessman, designer, fireman, artist, driver, policeman, cook, astronaut\[ai],[i:],[u],[ͻ:], [a:],[aiǝ],[ǝ].

  • Very good for you!

  • Now your next task. Look at the screen. You should match the words with the definitions.

  • Are you tired? Let,s have a rest. (Физкультминутка).

  • Thank you, take your seats, please. We continue our work. You should fill in the blanks. (jobs, typical for man\jobs, typical for women\ jobs, typical for man and women).

  • Now we work in groups. There are cards on your desks with the names of professions. You should write down some characteristics which are necessary for this job. Three minutes for you.

  • OK, let's check your answers.

  • Very good for you! Look at the board. There are two pictures with people on it. You should listen this two people, who talking about their jobs and guess what they do.

  • Mr Hopkins is a gardener.

  • Mrs Rogers is a librarian.

  • Well done!

  • Now work in groups, please. I,ll give you a text. You should read it and discuss two questions:1. Why people choose this job?

2.Do you like this job?

- OK, let's check your ideas. The first group….

And your last task today. I'll give you a sheet of paper with a plan. Using this plan, tell us about you and say, what are you going to be?
