Тема урока: «Летние каникулы».

Цели урока: совершенствование навыков монологической речи; актуализация навыков перевода; тренировка навыков устной речи по теме «Летние каникулы».

Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, презентация по теме.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

• Good morning, boys and girls! I'm glad to see you.

• Who is on duty today?

• What date is it today?

• Who is absent today?

• Today we shall continue our talk about summer holidays.

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

- I want you to read the words from the blackboard now. Who can read them aloud? Let' read them all together in a whisper. Can you translate them?

Read the words in pairs, please.

4. Проверка домашнего задания.

- It's time to check up your homework. Open your Workbooks, page 12, exercise 31. The task was to complete the story about summer holidays. Who is ready to read his or her story?

5. Активизация навыков перевода.

- And now let's remember the most important and interesting events of your summer holidays. You can see the cards on your desks. I want you to translate my sentences from Russian into English and from English into Russian. You have 3 minutes to do this task.

1. Я ездил за границу в августе. (I went abroad in August).

2. Погода была прекрасная в июле. (The weather was fine in July).

3. Я проводила много времени на свежем воздухе. (I spent a lot of time outdoors).

4. По вечерам мы пели песни. (In the evening we sang songs).

5. Я сделал много фотографий своих друзей. (I took a lot of pictures of my friends).

6. I spent my holidays in the country. (Я провел свои каникулы за городом).

7. We picked berries and gathered mushroom in the forest. ( В лесу мы собирали ягоды и грибы).

8. In the evening we made a fire and played the guitar. (По вечерам мы разводили костер и играли на гитаре).

9. I missed my parents in the camp. (В лагере я скучал по родителям).

10. My friends and I rode our bikes. (Я со своими друзьями катался на велосипедах).

7. Активизация изученного материала по теме «Летние каникулы».

- And now you will work in pairs. Open your textbooks, page 18, exercise 38. You have 5 minutes to complete the table.

- Your time is up. Share your ideas, please.

8. Тренировка навыков устной речи.

- I hope you are ready to discuss the table now. Read the example from exercise 37, page 17. Now is your turn to decide what variant you prefer: the city, the country or the camp.

9. Подведение итогов урока. Домашнее задание.
