Тема: «My home, my castle» («Мой дом - моя крепость»)

</ Подтема: «A typical English House» («Типичный английский дом»)

Цели:

Практическая: практиковать учащихся во всех видах речевой деятельности на иностранном языке (говорении, чтении, письме) по теме урока. Научить создавать словесную «картинку» английского дома.

Образовательная: развитие социокультурной компетенции через знакомство с типами домов в Англии.

Развивающая: развитие творческих способностей учащихся; развитие умения общаться, развитие умений заполнять пропуски в тексте (изучающее чтение).

Воспитательная: воспитание уважительного отношения к культурным ценностям страны изучаемого языка. Развитие умения работать в группе (паре).

Тип урока: training-communicative.

Оборудование:

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент (3 минут):

Учитель: Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you.

Ученики: Good morning. We are glad to see you too.

Учитель: How are you?

Ученики: We are fine, thanks.

Учитель: Sit down, please.

2. Сообщение темы урока (7 минут):

Учитель: I think you are ready to say what the topic of the lesson is. (Работа в группах: каждая группа получает задание составить одно из слов темы из разрезанных букв и записать его на доске. В итоге мы имеем тему урока. Слайд 1,2). Each group has a task - make a word. That's right. The topic of our lesson is "A TYPICAL ENGLISH HOUSE". We'll speak about English houses.

3. Основная часть (35 минут)

1. But first of all let's check what you remember from the previous lessons.

I'm sure you like riddles, don't you? Today I've got some riddles for you.

Riddles:

1. It's a place where we live in. Слайд 3,4

2. It's a room where people sleep. 5

3. It's a room where we cook. 6

4. It's place where we can watch TV, read books and just have a rest after school and work. 7

5. It's a place where we take off our coats and shoes. 8

John lives in a semi-detached house in England.

It is made of bricks.

Inside the house there are two floors.

Downstairs there is a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom.

Outside there is a back and front garden with a lot of flowers.

The house has got central heating.

7. When we are in the house we count the floors. Let's count each of us - the first, … (Stand up and say your number.) слайд 22.

8. Now make up a project. Use your plan and tell about typical Russian house, for example, dacha. Work in groups. You have three minutes. (слайд 23).

A dacha is a typical Russian cottage.

It is made of bricks or wood.

Inside the dacha there are two floors.

Downstairs there is a living room, a kitchen and a hall.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms.

Outside there is a garden with flowers and vegetables.

4. Завершающая часть урока (2 минуты)

Учитель: Our lesson is over. It's time to evaluate your work. Everybody gets excellent marks.

You are great! Thank you very much. Your home task will be the next: What is your house? Write a short text about your hose. Use the text in Ex.1 as a model.
