Слайд 1: The Moscow Kremlin is one of the most famous landmarks of Russia. Just as the White House in Washington, the Kremlin in Moscow is the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation.

Слайд 2: the Moscow Kremlin was built in 1482-1495 on the order of Ivan the Great. Now the Kremlin is one of the most ancient parts of the city.

Слайд 3: The Moscow Kremlin is situated on the left bank of Moskva River. We also may say that this historic fortified complex is situated at the heart of Moscow and overlooks the Red Square.

Слайд 4: Kremlin is a massive brick with 20 towers. From a bird's-eye view the Kremlin looks like an irregular triangle. Each corner has one tower. The most famous and important tower is the Spasskaya Tower which leads to Red Square. It has a belfry and a ruby star on the top. New Year is traditionally greeted by the Russians with a chimes of the Spasskaya Tower. The Spasskie Gates are the main entrance to the fortified complex.

Слайд 5: In the Kremlin there are five palaces and four cathedrals. Also there is the Ivan the Great Bell Tower which is renowned for once being the tallest building in old Moscow and the tallest belfry in Russia. Cathedral Square and the Cathedral of the Dormition are situated in the heart of the Kremlin. For 300 years the coronation of all Russian monarchs took place in the Cathedral of Dormition.

Слайд 6: Also in the Moscow Kremlin the Diamond fund of Russia is situated. There are also several interesting museums inside the Kremlin walls. For example, the Arsenal which was originally built for Peter the Great and the Armoury building which houses Russian state regalia.

I haven't been in Moscow and never seen the Moscow Kremlin yet. But I hope I'll can visit the capital of our country and see this great wonder of archeticture.
