Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку для 5 класса

"Do you know English well?"

Цель: повысить интерес учащихся к изучению иностранного языка и стране изучаемого языка.

Задачи:
1.Образовательные:
Расширение лексического запаса учащихся;
Расширение лингвистического кругозора и эрудиции учащихся;

Ознакомление с идиомами сравнения в английском языке.
2.Практические:
повторение числительных, дат,

Активизация и закрепление лексики по темам Family, Holidays, Healthy Ways;
Выявление уровня знаний, умений и навыков по пройденным темам;
создание условий для применения учащимися знаний, полученных в ходе учебного процесса;

Повторение грамматического материала по темaм Present Simple, Past Simple

3.Развивающие:
Развитие языковой догадки, внимания и логического мышления;
4.Воспитательные:
Воспитание умения работать в команде;
Воспитание чувства взаимопомощи;
Воспитание уважительного отношения к соперникам;
Воспитание культуры общения.
Оборудование:
презентация Power Point, мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, карточки с заданиями.

Оформление: вырезные буквы для оформления сцены: WELCOME TO OUR COMPETITION.

Ход мероприятия:

I.Организационный момент.
- Good afternoon, children! Today we have a game lesson "Do you know English well?"

- Очень верны замечательные слова великого немецкого писателя Иоганна Вольфганга Гёте: «Кто не знает иностранного языка, тот не знает и своего собственного». Человек не может считать себя культурным и грамотным, если он не знает иностранного языка. Современному человеку очень трудно обойтись без знания иностранного языка.
