Загрязнение окружающей среды.

1.Развивать навыки устной речи, чтения и письма.

2.Познакомить учащихся с лексикой по теме «Окружающая среда» в рамках речевой ситуации «Загрязнение окружающей среды» и обеспечить ее первичную отработку в серии языковых упражнений. Развивать умение выборочно понимать необходимую информацию в воспринимаемом на слух тексте с опорой на просматриваемый фильм.

3.Воспитывать бережное отношение к природе.

Ход урока:

I Начало урока:

1. Организационный момент.

-Good morning. Sit down, please. Today we will begin a new lesson. The topic that we will discuss is «The environment.» You will learn some new words and watch an interesting film. Then we will do exercises and read the text.

2.Речевая зарядка.

-Who is on duty today?

-Is anyone absent? Why is he/she absent? Is he/she ill?

-What is the date today?

-What date was yesterday?

-What date will be tomorrow?

-What day of the week is it today? и т. д.

1.Ознакомление с новой лексикой.

The Environment.

The Earth is more than just the place you call home. The Earth is your environment. It means that the land, air, water, and wildlife that surround you affect the way you live.

Most people today know about global warming. They know our planet is in trouble. The weather is changing, the seas arc rising and the к arc melting. Why is it then that nobody seems to be doing anything about it? Perhaps they don't know what to do?

There arc lots of things we can do that will help. Firstly, we must stop using aerosols, such as hairspray and spray deodorants. The ozone layer is very important, as it filters the light from the sun. If we didn't have the ozone layer, the sun's light would be too dangerous

In addition, we must use public transport instead oil cars. This is a very dangerous gas which pollutes the air. We must also stop pouring chemicals and waste into rivers and lakes, as this pollutes the water and kills the plants, fish and birds which live there.

Further more, we must stop cutting down trees and destroying the rainforests. . if we cut down trees, we destroy the homes of animals and birds.

How can you help the environment?

If you`ll always turn water off, you can safe the seas and rivers. If you`ll always sort your rubbish, you can save the ground. If you`ll reuse your old books, you can save the forests.

Also, you can help by writing to politicians and company directors asking them to reduce pollution.

If everyone tries to help, we could make our world better place, for ourselves and the children of the future.
