План-конспект урока «Страны и континенты»

Учебник «Английский с удовольствием» 7 класс, автор М.З.Биболетова, 2 четверть.

Цели урока:

1.Активизация и расширение страноведческих знаний по теме «Страны и континенты».

2.Развитие произносительных навыков.

3.Совершенствование навыков аудирования и диалогической речи.

Оборудование: карточки по количеству учащихся; флаги разных стран.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

- Good morning, boys and girls!

- I'm glad to see you.

Today we 'll have a talk about different countries and their flags and what these countries are famous for.

II.Фонетическая разминка

Now, pupils, we'll revise everything we know about continents and countries. But first of all we must revise the pronunciation of the words:

America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, Antarctic, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Hindi, China, Egypt, the USA, New Zealand, Greece, Canada, Hungary, Canberra.

III. Лексическая разминка

1. Answer the questions.

1. What is the name of the planet we live on?

2. How many continents are there on the Earth?

3. What are they?

4. How many oceans are there on the planet?

5. Which country is the largest in the world?

6. What English-speaking countries do you know?

7. What foreign languages are popular in Russia?

8. What language is an international language nowadays?

I know that you did your best and prepared the flags of several countries. And now I want to be sure that you know the capitals and the flags of some countries.

IV. Введение страноведческой информации по теме «Страны и континенты». Развитие навыков произношения.

It's time to learn some geographical names. Let's do ex.8 p.36. Listen to the speaker and repeat the proper names after him. Group the words into 4 columns.

V. Физкультминутка

Hands on your hips, hands on your knees,

Put them behind you if you please.

Touch your shoulders, touch your nose,

Touch your ears, touch your toes.

Raise your hands high in the air,

At your sides, on your hair.

Raise your hands as before

While you clap: one, two, three, four.

VI. Совершенствование навыков аудирования.(Приложение 1)

- As you know people from different countries take part in different conferences and competitions. We'll listen to the stories of the participants about their countries and guess what countries they are from. It's ex. 9 p.36.

VII. Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи.

Now, boys and girls, I want to open our international conference. You must tell us your name, your nationality, your country, the language you speak, the name of the continent your country is. Please also describe the flag of your country. Work in pairs and make up dialogues. (Для выполнения задания каждый ученик получает флаг и карточку с именем и названием страны).Приложение 2.

VIII. Подведение итогов урока.

Our lesson us over. The bell has gone. Good-bye, boys and girls.

Домашнее задание: упр.5,6 стр.56
