Методическая разработка внеклассного мероприятия на тему:

«The world of entertainment in the USA»

Конспект мероприятия

(Мероприятие проходит в игровой форме, в ходе которой участники делятся на три группы по пять человек. Мероприятие включает в себя 5 этапов. За правильность ответов, группы набирают баллы: 1 этап-1 балл, 2 этап-2 балла,3 этап-3 балла, 4 этап-4 балла, 5 этап-5 баллов (за каждый правильный ответ).

Цели урока:

Учебный аспект: активизировать изученную лексику по теме в речи учащихся; практиковать учащихся в диалогической и монологической речи; учить учащихся делать компьютерные презентации творческих проектов; развивать у учащихся умение творчески использовать усвоенный материал в ситуациях.

Развивающий аспект: развивать коммуникативные навыки; творческое мышление; компетенции самостоятельной работы; формировать компетенции самостоятельного поиска, анализа и оценки информации.

Воспитывающий аспект: воспитывать умение взаимодействовать и сотрудничать в группе, приходить к общему решению; развивать интерес к изучению иностранного языка; воспитывать у учащихся интерес к англоговорящим странам; воспитывать ответственность друг за друга.

Оборудование: презентация «The world of entertainment in the USA», жетоны, карточки с заданиями, интерактивная доска.

Планирование деятельности:

1. Разминка.

Показать видеоролик с различными формами развлечений. Нацелить учащихся на тему урока.

T: What are we going to speak about today? Watch and guess.

На доске слайд 1 с различными формами развлечений: озаглавить слайд.

T: Look at the pictures. What forms of entertainment do you enjoy? What sort of person are you: cinema goer, sports fan, culture buff, TV addict, bookworm?

2. Работа с лексикой.

1. Заполнить Word Web - Forms of Entertainment.

Ученики работают в группах, предлагая различные формы развлечений.

Схема в буклете.

На доске появляется слайд 2 по мере заполнения схемы.

2) Распределить прилагательные по двум столбикам:

Exciting, childish, entertaining, boring, educational, interesting, civilized, cruel, barbaric, thrilling, funny, intellectual, cultural, relaxing, elegant, emotional, cheap, energetic, lively, violent, dull, loud, tiring, crowded, noisy, upsetting, horrifying, childish, dangerous, offensive, addictive, expensive

T: Divide adjectives into two columns - positive and negative.

1) Сделать предположение о содержании диалога по отдельным предложениям.

1. Sounds perfect. Let's book tickets for Friday night.

2. I'm a bit short of cash. Is there anything else - perhaps something a bit less formal?

3. Is it expensive?

4. That sounds like fun, but I bet it'll go on quite late. What about a comedy film at the cinema? That would be cheap, and it wouldn't finish too late, either.

5. I'd like to do something different this weekend. What's on?

2) Подставить предложения в диалог по смыслу.

2. Используя рекламные проспекты и афиши составить в парах диалоги, пользуясь образцом.

T: Read out the example exchange. Pay attention to the language in the table. Using the posters make up short dialogues in pairs.
