</План-конспект открытого урока по английскому языку в 9 классе по теме « HEALTH » (Spotlight. Английский в фокусе, 9 класс ) Учитель: Синельникова Т. И.,МБОУ «Гимназия № 363»,Санкт-Петербург. Цели урока: 1-обучающие:совершенствовать иноязычную коммуникативную компетенцию; обеспечить в ходе урока обобщение материала по теме «Health. Healthy habits». 2- развивающие : развивать социокультурную компетенцию ;формировать универсальные учебные действия обучающихся; развивать языковую интуицию, умение видеть главное, логически излагать собственные мысли; создать положительную мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка; расширять культурологические знания. 3-воспитательные: формировать правильное отношение к собственному здоровью; воспитывать умение слушать, поддерживать беседу, уважать индивидуальность. Тип урока: обобщающий. Оборудование: экран, проектор, компьютер, презентации учащихся. 1-Ход урока: орг. момент. Постановка задачи. 2-Основная часть. T.-To begin with I'd like you to tell me what things in your opinion are very important for people. Ss.- … T.-You are quite right. But today we are to speak about HEALTH. And at the end of our discussion you'll tell me why we should value it and how we can improve it. Keep in mind that HEALTH can be not only physical but spiritual, social, too. Give me, please, the definition of the word HEALTH. Ss.- HEALTH is... - HEALTH is the state of being well without disease.(Longman). T.-What are its synonyms? Ss.-HEALTH is fitness, well-being, soundness, strength. T.-Derive the adjectives. Ss.-HEALTH- healthy, healthful. T.-Any synonyms? Ss.-HEALTHY is active, blooming, fit, flourishing. T.-Let's try to create an acrostic with adjectives characterizing a person. (На доске вертикально написано слово «HEALTH»). Ss.-HEALTH is successful studying, prestigious job, career, friendly family (for the sake of it we should live),... T.- Do you remember any proverbs about HEALTH? Ss.-HEALTH is above wealth -... T. -The wisdom of the ages teaches that family well-being depends on our health. -Very often even the most expensive medicine can't improve it. -We should care of our health but everything should be in measures. -What type of people are called hypochondriac? Ss.-People who... -People who suffer from a state of anxiety and worry about their health are called hypochondriac (Longman). T.-Any examples? Учащиеся приводят примеры из жизни великих людей, литературы(Сид Чаплин, из произведения Дж.К.Джерома...) Показывают презентацию. Картины известных художников, посвященные ипохондрии + комментарии. T.-Unfortunately, there are people who don't care of their health at all. Try to describe their lifestyle. Ss.-Students speak about bad habits and comment on them. junk food (we are what we eat) smoking drugs... T.-Consequently, what recommendations can you give them? Ss. Ученики говорят о своих любимых занятиях. dancing + comments music T.-The most favourable effect the classical music has. The most harmful for our health are Rap, R&B, Hip hop). Ss.- presentation about V.May a fantastic musician and participant of the Winter Olympiad in Sochi. (Звучит « Storm » А.Вивальди в исполнении В.Мэй). T.-Other recommendations. (Ученики дают рекомендации и комментируют их). Ss.-sport(sound mind in a sound body) -food (an apple a day keeps the doctor away). -medical check up... T.-In addition, I'd like to say about therapeutic verses. According to the British doctors they eliminate daily stress and even treat people especially if they are introverts. So, create poetry, express yourself and be always healthy. And now let's try to draw a conclusion through the poetry a la Emily Dickinson. What is HEALTH for you?
