The weather in Britain is very changeable. It is never too hot or too cold Great Britain. This is because of the sea, which keeps the island warm in winter and makes the air cool in summer. The weather in spring is generally mild, but sometimes the days are really cold. The summer is not so cold as on the continent, and warm days in autumn are beautiful. In winter they have all sorts of weather. The British also say that they have three variants of weather: when it rains in the morning, when it rains in the afternoon or when it rains all day long.

Pupils will read the text and translate in native language. They will found new words in this text and write it's in your dictionary.
