TV Show "The right of expression"

Dear TV viewers, I`m glad to welcome you at our TV Show "The right of expression"

The topic of our today`s TV show is the future of the the Russian Army.

We are going to discuss:

1. the development of our technic,

2. the new equipment @ its usage,

3. the new devices @

4. the military uniform.

I want to introduce the participants of our talk show. They are the cadets of company 3 of the OCMC.

Let`s start with the new types of weapons @ vehicles.

Nowadays our Russian Army is one of the best armies in the world.

And what do you think about the future of our Armed Forces?

Cadet Scheredin, platoon 1 company 3 :

But the future of our Armed forces will change drastically.

We will use renovated air space troops when we need to get to the place in a short period of time, but to my mind tanks will remain the main striking force of the Army. The main mission of Armor is to assist infantry to carry out its tasks. Armor can operate independently and in cooperation with other arms. Armor is highly mobile, has great firepower and produces shock effect.

Armor is capable of accomplishing the following actions: deep penetration, and wide envelopment, exploitation, mobile defense, destruction of enemy armor formations, reconnaissance and security.

Really our Armed Forces are strong enough to defend our country.

Really, our Armed Forces are strong enough to defend our country.

Active Army personnel is about seventy hundred sixty six million men @ officers.

Active Army reserve is about two hundred fifty million men strong.

Aircraft strength is about three hundred aircrafts.

Total tank strength is about fifteen thousand five hundred tanks.

Cadet Rechkin, platoon 1 company 3 :

At present our Armed forces areequipped withnew models of the tank Armata in addition to light, medium, heavy and special tanks. Special tanks are amphibious, flame throwing, mine-clearing, mine- laying and others.

I think, in future Armada tank will be armed with guided missiles. It will have a new remote control system. Its range of fire will be up to 10 km, cruising range up to one thousand km, a road speed up to one hundredfifty km/hour.

It will assist infantry to carry out its tasks @ operate independently. Armor is highly mobile, has great firepower and produces shock effect.

We`ll be able to overcome all kinds of obstacles including swamps @ vertical walls.

Our Russian soldiers will get a uniform of a new generation.

It will be supplied with special visual devices @ glasses.

And it will have a special body protection against injuries.

Our soldiers will be armed with new models of Kalashnikov submachingun.

A new helmet will have ear protection to shield from explosion @ a mouth protector.

Body armor will include a jacket with ballistic plates.

Glasses will protect from flying debris @ ultra-violet rays.(photographs of the new military uniform)

Scientists are also creating the so- called synthetic armor protection.

By the way, robots in the Army is a reality.

I think, soon we`ll see artificial intellect on the battle field.

I can name some masterpieces of Russian military science such as helicopter "Alligator" or a family of Russian combat robot vehicles "Uran".

Space exploration will become increasingly popular.

We will visit Mars.

No matter, how strong our enemies will be, we shouldn`t worry about the future @ we`ll be able to preserve peace on our planet.
