Конструкция There is/are in the Past Simple

Конструкция There is/are in the Past Simple(was/were)

Используется для того, чтобы описать , где что-то находится.

Конструкция состоит из безличного подлежащего "There" и глагола to be в нужном времени.

For example:

+There is a table and four chairs in the kitchen.

There are four chairs and a table in the kitchen.

There was a table and four chairs in the kitchen.

There were four chairs and a table in the kitchen.

-There is not anybody in the room. There are not any people in the room.
