Тема урока: «Консолидация изученного материала модуля.»

Тема: «Особые дни »

Цель: активизировать изученную ранее тематическую лексику.

Задачи: научить составлять связное высказывание о празднике; учить понимать английскую речь, извлекать информацию из услышанного текста; развивать умения работать в команде; воспитывать уважение к праздникам других стран.

Оснащение урока: учебник Spotlight 5 (student`s book);презентация, раздаточный материал ( пословицы о еде, фразы о праздниках, задание со словами из "Test Booklet" к учебнику Spotlight 5 с.65, аудирование с.68, аудиоприложение к "Test Booklet", разрезанные предложения о праздниках для постеров, 3 полуватмана, клей, видео с песней о еде из видеокурса (часть 5) onlinenglish.ru.

1. Организационный этап.

T: Good afternoon boys and girls! Good afternoon our guests! I am glad to see you!

P: Good afternoon ! We are glad to see you!

T: Sit down please ! Let's start our lesson.

2. Постановка темы и цели урока.

Look at the presentation, read and answer the questions. (слайд 1)

- Do you like tasty food?

- Do you like having fun?

- Do you like gifts?

(учащиеся отвечают на вопросы)

T: Could you tell me what the topic of our lesson is ?

P: The topic of our lesson is……

T: So, the topic of our lesson is " Different celebrations- different food". (слайд 2)

Today you will do a lot of interesting tasks. You 'll work in a team. You must be friendly and polite.

3. Работа с пословицами.

Task 1. (слайд 3)

Match parts of the proverbs and say: "We are ready" I'll check. Then you'll read and translate the proverbs.

(команда получает конверты с частями пословиц, соединяет их)

Учитель проверяет задание, фиксирует правильность.

Look at the presentation and check your task. (слайд 4)

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Half a loaf is better than no bread.

You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.

T: Read some words after me please ( half, loaf, without, breaking)

Now, read and translate the proverbs.( учащиеся читают и переводят пословицы)

4. Работа со словами. Task 2. (слайд 5)

T: Write the names of the food.

( учащиеся берут на столах раздаточный материал и выполняют задания )

Check the exercise. (слайд 6) Correct the mistakes.

1. butter 6. meat

2. bread 7. grapes

3. eggs 8. milk

4. fish 9. pasta

5. rice 10. chicken

T: Look at the slide. Put yourself a mark. (слайд 7)Task 3. (слайд 8)

T: English people like to eat cornflakes (cereal), toasts and salads. Now put the instructions for making the dish in the right order.

(команды получают по 1 рецепту и расставляют последовательность приготовления блюда)

Toasts.

• Put the toast on your plate. Put some butter on it. Enjoy it.

• Put it in the toaster.

• Cut a slice of bread.

• Wait a minute. It's ready.

Cornflakes.

• Add some suger. It's great! Enjoy it!

• Open the box.

• Put some cereal in your bowl.

• Pour on some milk (cold or warm)

Fruit salad.

• Cut into pieces.

• Wash the fruit.

• Take three bananas and an apple.

• Mix with yoghurt.

T: Well, let's check the exercise. Read the recipe and translate.

5. Аудирование. Task 4. (слайд 9)

T: The next task is listening.

Read the recipe. Listen to the speaker and complete the gaps.

Chocolate Milkshake.

• 1) ……………. syrup

• ½ a 2) ………… of milk

• Put the ice cream in a 3) .............

• Add 4) ………. tablespoons of the syrup.

• 5) …….. them a bit with a spoon.

• Cover the jar.

• Shake it and enjoy it !

6. Физкультминутка. So, it's time to have some rest. (слайд 12)

7. Повторение фраз о праздниках. Task 5. (слайд 13)

What do people do on different holidays? Match the words and put them on the blackboard. (учащиеся разных команд выходят, соединяют части фразы по смыслу, прикрепляют на доске)

decorate street parades

cook the house

set off fireworks

have a family dinner

8.Выполнение постера и защита. Task 6. (слайд 14)

Do posters about holidays. Use as many sentences as you can. After that tell about the holiday. The first team - " Thanksgiving Day" , the second team - "Easter", the third team - "Birthday"

(у команд конверты с разными предложениями о праздниках. Они выбирают нужные, приклеивают, иллюстрируют)

Tell about your holiday. ( команда выходит к доске и рассказывает о своём празднике)

We have done all our tasks. Great!

9. Домашнее задание. Open your daybooks and write down your homework.

(слайд 15) WB p.60 ex.3 At home you will read the text "Meals in England" and complete the gaps with the correct word.

10. Рефлексия. Now answer my questions please.
