Открытый урок в 8 классе по теме: "Passive Voice".

Цели урока:

1. Учебная: Совершенствование ранее приобретённых навыков устной речи, чтения и аудирования с извлечением конкретной информации.

2. Практическая: Использование в речи учащихся английского вокабуляра в целом.

3. Образовательная: пополнение знаний по теме "Passive Voice".

Задачи урока:

1.Познакомить учащихся с особенностями употребления пассивного залога и обеспечить его первичную обработку в сериях языковых упражнений.

2.Развивать умение понимать необходимую информацию в воспринимаемом на слух тексте.

3. Научить учащихся использовать ситуации, использованные в тексте, в качестве языковой и речевой опоры для развития умений и навыков диалогической и монологической речи.

Ход урока

1. Орг. момент.

- Good morning, young boys and girls. I'm glad to see you. Let's begin our lesson.

- What date is it today?

- What day of a week is it today?

- Who is absent today?

2. Введение в тему.

- Today we are going to devote our lesson to "The Passive Voice". We shall dо a lot of exercises, listen to the text "The Russian State Library" and speak about it.

3. Объяснение нового грамматического материала "Passive Voice".

Мы переходим к изучению одной из самых важных грамматических тем - страдательного залога: который по-английски называется the Passive Voice. Этот залог дает возможность образовывать предложения, в которых объект действия является подлежащим. Поясним это примером из русского языка:

А.С. Пушкин написал стихотворение. (действ.алог).

Стихотворение написано А.С. Пушкиным. (страдат. залог)

To form different tenses in the Passive, we change the tense of the verb "to be".

The Passive form of Present Simple :

am

is + Ved/V3 (Past Participle)

are

The Past Participle of regular verbs is -ed:

(clean ed/ damag ed etc.).

The Past Participle of irregular verbs are in the list (the 3d form of the verbs):

to be - was/were -been

to make - made - made

Examples:

A cinema is a place where films are shown.

I'm not often invited to the parties.

How is the word pronounced?

Complete the proverbs using the correct verb forms:

1. The moon .... not.... when the sun shines . (to see)

2 . A tree ... ... by its fruits, (to know)

The Passive form of Past Simple

Was,Were + Ved/ V3

Examples:

We were woken up by a loud noise at night

I didn't go to the party; I wasn't invited.

How much money was stolen?

Complete the proverbs using the correct verb forms:

1. Rome ... not... in a day. (to build)

2. Fingers... ... before forks . (to make)

The Passive form of Future Simple :

will be + Ved/ V3

Examples:

This film will be shown on TV tomorrow.

When will the letter be sent?

The tickets won't be brought next Tuesday.

Complete the proverbs using the correct verb forms:

1. Ask no questions and you ... ... ... no lies. (to tell)

2. He ... not ... ... at, that laughs at himself first. (to laugh).

Отрицательная и вопросительная формы образуются по тем же правилам, что и формы действительного залога:

• в отрицательной форме частица подставится после вспомогательного глагола:

John isn't helped by Mary. - Джону Мэри не помогает.

• При сложной форме вспомогательного глагола частица "not "ставится после первого вспомогательного глагола

John won't be helped by Mary. - Джону Мэри не поможет.

В вопросительной форме вспомогательный глагол (в сложной форме первый по счету) обычно ставится перед подлежащим:

Is John helped by Mary? - Джону Мэри помогает?

Will John be helped by Mary? - Джону Мэри поможет?

Если в страдательной конструкции указывается исполнитель действия, выраженный одушевленным существительным или местоимением, ему предшествует предлог by:

The book was written by O.Wilde. - Книга была написана О.Уайльдом.
