Тема: «Путешествие - как способ познать мир»
Тип урока: закрепление знаний, умений, навыков.
Вид урока: практическая работа.
Формы организации познавательной деятельности: фронтальная, парная, индивидуальная.
Средства обучения: компьютер, авторская презентация, проектор, лист ватмана, листы бумаги размером А4, маркеры, картинки, клей, магниты.
Цель урока: развитие коммуникативной компетенции и культуры общения учащихся.
Задачи урока

Формировать у учащихся навыки работы над проектом.

Совершенствовать лексику по теме «Путешествие - как способ познать мир» с помощью устной и письменной речи.

Развивать познавательный интерес к изучению английского языка.

2 Актуализация знаний учащихся по теме «Путешествие - как способ познать мир».

P: - They hope to make a fortune.
P: -They want to investigate the world.
P: -They want to discover new places, new species of animals or plants to become famous.
P: - They want to develop trade and economic relationship.
P: - They want to meet new people and get to know their lifestyles and their traditions.
P: - They have a sense of adventure.

Thank you! I see you like to travel.
But would you like to change something in your life, for example?

I would like to travel a lot by speedy cars.

I don't like to travel much because I suffer from unknown diseases, hunger, thirst and wild animals.

I prefer travelling because of curiosity.

We are happy when we are allowed to do what we want that's why I would like to travel by modern ocean liners.

But the tickets are very expensive.
4. Постановка цели; пути решения проблемы.

Now, look, we analyzed the situation in this problem and you want to change it for the better.

Now, what is our objective?

Well then, let's dream a little bit and imagine a comfortable travelling. Let's write a little newspaper about travelling. It will be our project.
5. Подготовка к работе над проектом.

Let's give the title (the name) to our project.

Let's draw up the plan our project. What shall we speak about first? These points of the plan will be the names of your articles!

Will it be comfortable for you to work in pairs as well as you sit? O.k. then chose one of the points of the plan.

6. Разработка проекта и оформление результатов.
Учащиеся работают в парах. Учитель крепит лист ватмана на доску, приклеивает названия статей. Помогает учащимся. Учащиеся приклеивают свои листы А4 на ватман/постер.
7. Презентация проекта.

Now, look! Our poster is ready. But not the project. The project should be presented! Please, come to the blackboard! Stand there 5 persons to the left site of the poster and 5 persons to the right site. Closer stand those of you who will speak the first and so on. Then just change your places.

Учащиеся представляют свои тексты, таким образом, защищая проект.
8. Подведение итогов.

Well, as you see, our travelling is super, wonderful! It is in a good idea to have cheap tickets .We have found the information about different countries, strange places. O.k. it's your choice, your dream, your project. Is it a success?

So your home task is to find a pen friend, to ask him about his hobby and to make a project «My friend lives in Britain».
