Урок 1. Спорт. Виды спорта.

Задачи:

Учебные: ознакомить учащихся с новыми лексическими единицами по теме «Спорт. Виды спорта», научить правильно употреблять их с глаголами: play, do, go; организовать обучение аудированию, организовать работу в парах с составлением диалогов по теме «Спорт»

Развивающие: развивать навыки аудирования, говорения, употребления новой лексики в речи, развивать навыки грамматики и фонетики, развивать навыки работы в парах, навыки диалогической и монологической речи

Воспитательные: расширить кругозор учащихся, воспитать любовь к спорту и здоровому образу жизни

Оборудование: учебники Solutions 2nd edition Pre-Intermediate Student's Book and Work Book, компьютер, диски.

Ход урока

1.Приветствие. Организация учащихся. Ознакомление с темой урока.

Good morning children. Nice to see you. How are you today?

I'm happy you are all fine today. Let's begin our lesson. Firstly I'd like to listen to your personal profiles-it was your home task, and then we are going to start a new theme: "Sport" and today we are going to remind some kinds of sport you have already learnt, and get acquainted with some new words. Of course we'll talk about famous sportsmen and listen to some sport commentaries.

3. Основная часть урока.

3.1. From your personal profiles I've understood you all love sport. That's why I think it's time to open your books and talk about sport. Let's look at the photos. Can you name these sportspeople and their sports?

1. Lionel Messi is a famous footballer from Argentina who currently plays for FC Barcelona.

2. Usian Bolt is a Jamaican athlete and a three-time Olympic gold medallist.

3. Lewis Hamilton is a British Formula 1 racing champion who won the world title in 2008.

4. Caroline Wozniacki is a Danish tennis player who was ranked number 1 in the world in 2011.

3.2. Работа с новыми лексическими единицами.

Now let's do ex.2p.14, match the icons (1-18) with the words below. OK, now let's listen, repeat and check.

Work in pairs. Put the words from ex.2 into these groups:

A winter sports: ice hockey, ski jumping, snowboarding

B combat sports: boxing, karate, fencing, wrestling

C team sports: badminton, baseball, basketball, cricket, ice hockey, netball, rowing, volleyball

D indoor sports: badminton, basketball, boxing, fencing, ice hockey, karate, netball, volleyball, wrestling, weightlifting

E outdoor sports: archery, athletics, baseball, basketball, cricket, netball, rowing, ski jumping, snowboarding, surfing

OK, let's compare answers with the class. Well done.

3.3. Now let's look through the box with the rule when we use play/ go/do with different sports. Add the sports from ex. 2 to the verbs play go and do.

3.4. Обучение аудированию.

Now let's listen to 8 commentaries and try to identify the sports. Choose from the sports in ex. 2.

3.5.Обучение говорению.

Now work in pairs again. Ask and answer the questions:

Which sports do you enjoy watching? Who are your favourite players and teams?

Which sports do you enjoy doing? When do you do them?

Which sports do find boring? Can you explain why?

4. Окончание урока. Подведение итогов. Домашнее задание.

What have you learned today?-I have learned words for different sports.

What can you do now? - I can talk about sports I like.
