Тема: Традиции Британии.

Задачи:

1. активизировать изученный материал

2. развивать навык устной речи на основе прочитанного текста

3. развивать навык аудирования

4. pазвивать навык диалогической речи.

Ход урока

1. Начало урока

Т - Good day boys and girls. I'm glad to see you.

Today we are going to speak about Brirish traditions.

Britain is the country of traditions. Traditions make a nation special. Some of them are old-fashioned and others are part of people's life. (Британия - страна традиций. Традиции делают нацию особенной. Некоторые традиции старые, другие становятся частью жизни людей.)

• What British traditions or celebrations do you know? ( Какие британские традиции и праздники вы знаете?)

• P1- I know St. Valentine's Day. People write and send beautiful postcards. (Я знаю день Святого Валентина. Люди посылают красивые открытки друг другу.)

• P2- X-mas, Easter. For Easter people dye eggs and present their relatives and friends with them. (Рождество и Пасха. На Пасху люди красят яйца и дарят их своим родным и друзьям.)

• P3- Guy Fawkes' Night. People set off firecrackers. (День Гая Фокса. Люди запускают фейерверки.)

• P4- Halloween. People make fancy costumes and put them on. (Люди одевают маскарадные костюмы.)

• P5- I know that Queueing is a national habit. It is polite to wait for your turn on the queue. (Я знаю, что очередь национальная привычка. Вежливо стоять в ожидании своей очереди.)

• P6- March the 1^st is a very important day for Welsh people. It's St. David's Day. He is the patron or national saint of Wales.

• In summer Scottish people traditionally meet together for competitions called Highland Games. The games always include Scottish dancing and bagpipe music.

T - There are o lot of celebrations and traditions throughout the year. In Britain there are some days that many people find very important. (Существует много праздников и традиций, которые отмечаются в течение года. Такие дни британцы считают очень важными.)

- P1- 22^nd of April is Arbor Day when people plant trees and schoolchildren often take part in it. ( 22 апреля - день посадки деревьев. Взрослые и дети принимают в этом участие.)

- P2- the 1^st week of May is Be-Kind-to-Animals Week. (Первая неделя мая - неделя доброго отношения к животным.)

- P3- The 4^th Sunday in Lent is Mother's Day on which people give cards and presents to their mothers to show their love for them. (Четвертое воскресенье в Великий пост - День Матери. Люди дарят открытки и цветы своим матерям, выражая свою любовь им.)

- P4- The 3^rd Sunday in June is Father's Day on which children give fathers cards and presents as a sign of love and to thank them for everything they do. (Третье воскресенье Июня - День Отца. Дети дарят папам открытки и подарки как знак любви за все, что они сделали.)

- P5- The 1^st week of June is Teacher "Thank You" Week. The children celebrate this week by giving the teachers flowers and cards. This is also a good time for organizing a picnic or a small concert. In our country we celebrate Teacher's day on the 5^th of October. (Первая неделя июня - Неделя благодарности Учителю. Дети дарят учителям цветы и открытки, устраивают пикники и небольшие концерты. В нашей стране мы отмечаем день учителя 5го Октября.)

- P6- Every year children at school help the needy people by collecting money, food and clothes. (Каждый год дети в школах помогают нуждающимся, собирая деньги, одежду, еду.)

- P7- A lot of British children do something for charity. They collect food and clothes for homeless people. (Большинство британских детей занимаются благотворительностью. Они собирают еду, одежду для бездомных.)

2. Развитие навыка аудирования.

T - And now you will listen to the information about one of the popular festival in England Eisteddfod. Listen to it and do the task. ( Сейчас вы услышите разговор двух друзей о фестивале в Англии и выполните задание.)

Учащиеся занимают места за компьютерными столами, идет запись, слушают и выполняют тестовое задание.

3. Развитие навыка устной речи на основе прочитанного текста.

T- One of the most important holiday for british people is Christmas. It is the main public holiday in Britain. Now you are going to read the text, then divide it into logical parts and give them titles.

Учащиеся читают текст в учебнике ex. 3 p. 132.

T- Put together all the information about Christmas and sum it up in a short talk about X-mas celebrations. Let each student add something to the story. Don't repeat each other.

(учащиеся должны собрать всю информацию о праздновании Рождества, передать в своем изложении).

5. Развитие навыка диалогической речи.

T- And now I'd like you to speak with your partner about Christmas. Ask him/her about the way he/she celebrates Christmas. (учащиеся готовят диалоги о праздновании Рождества).

6. T- And now let's sum it up. What do you remember about Christmas traditions in England?

Holidays Christmas Mother`s Day St. Valentine`s Day New Year`s Easter

This day people usually visit their friends. There is a lot of dancing and eating. People bring a piece of coal for good luck.

People decorate trees with toys, send greeting cards and find presents in their stockings.

People send cards to people they love. They don` t write their names. Those who get them must guess who sent them.

All people eat chocolate eggs. Sometimes parents hide eggs in the house or in the garden and children look for them.

This day children help at home and give or send cards and presents. Mothers like this holiday.
