ФРАГМЕНТ УРОКА-ПОДГОТОВКИ К УСТНОЙ ЧАСТИ ЕГЭ ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ

Тема: Тропические леса

Цель: формировать у учащихся навыки чтения, монологической речи, подготовить учащихся к успешной сдаче устной части ЕГЭ по английскому языку.

Оборудование: компьютер, диктофон.

Ход выполнения заданий

1. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, and then be ready to read it out aloud. You will not have more than 1.5 minutes to read it.

There are two types of Rainforest tropical and temperate. Tropical are found close to the equator. Temperate are found along coasts in the temperate zone.

Tropical rainforests are located close to the equator, an area known as the tropic zone. Most are in the area between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.

Temperatures near the equator are higher. These higher temperatures cause accelerated evaporation of water, which results in frequent rain in forested areas in the tropics.

Tropical rainforests are found in South and Central America, Africa, Australia, and Asia. Tropical rainforests cover only about 6% of the Earth's surface.

The largest tropical rain forests are in the Amazon River Basin, the Congo River Basin, and throughout much of Southeast Asia. There are many smaller ones located throughout the tropics including Central America, Madagascar, Australia and India.

Temperate rainforests are found in the area of the earth known as the temperate zones. Areas that include temperate rainforests are the pacific coast of the United States and Canada, New Zealand, Tasmania, Chile, Ireland, Scotland and Norway.

You are considering visiting the city and now you are calling to find out more information. In 1.5 minutes you are to ask five direct questions to find out the following:

3. Rules

4. Menu

5. Any special effects

You have 20 seconds to ask each question.

2. Imagine that you are preparing a report for your classmates about your visiting the rainforests. And you have some photos for it. Choose one photo to show your classmates

You will have to start speaking in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes. In your talk remember to speak about:

1. why you have taken this photo

2. what/who is in the photo

3. how it presents the main idea of the report

4. what it reflects

You have to talk continuously, starting with:

4. Study the two photographs. In 1.5 minutes be ready to compare and contrast the photographs:

•give a brief description of the photos (action, location)

•say what the pictures have in common

•say in what way the pictures are different

•say which of the ways of treating rainforests you'd prefer

•explain why

You will speak for not more than 2 minutes. You have to talk continuously.
