The theme: Food and drink
The objectives of the lesson:
a) to increase pupil's word stock, to train them in Grammar;
b) to develop pupils' reading, writing and speaking abilities;
c) to bring up pupils' interests to English language, to teach pupils to respect the culture of other nations;
The type of the lesson: mixed lesson.
The kind of the lesson: demonstrative lesson.
Intersubjective link : Russian, Kazakh and Music.
Visual aids used at the lesson: pictures, cards, an interactive board.
The procedure of the lesson:
I. Organization moment.
а) Greeting, short conversation with class.
T: Good morning, pupils!
P: Good morning, teacher!
b) Warming - up exercise.
- Put these words into three groups. Give a name to each group. You can add the names of food known before.

III. New theme.
Teacher's explanation : Nouns can be countable( those that can be counted) and uncountable( those that can't be counted).Countable nouns have singular and plural forms. Uncountable nouns haven't any plural form, they have only singular form.

E.g. Three apples, two oranges
We use - many- with countable nouns and - much- with uncountable nouns.
E. g. There are many apples in the basket. There is much milk in the bottle.
