" Music: the soundtrack of our lives"

Цели:
Образовательные:
- работать над развитием умений диалогической и монологической речи по теме и умений аудирования;
- активизировать лексический материал и речевые фразы;
- работать над формированием грамматических навыков по теме Subjunctive Mood;
Развивающие: создать благоприятные условия для развития памяти, внимания, мышления, воображения и языковой догадки;
Воспитательные: воспитывать чувство прекрасного, уважительное отношение к партнёру по диалогу и к учителю.
Тип урока: комбинированный.
Оборудование: карточки с новой лексикой, карточки с выражениями типа "I have to admit", "It is not really my thing", "I am not keen on", "Do you think" и т.д., фотография Бритни Спирс и группы "Битлз",мультимедийная доска, плакаты.
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент.
Т.- Good morning, dear girls and our guests! I think you are ready for our lesson and have a good mood. The topic or our lesson is…. You must guess about it. Look at the whiteboard and put the missing letters.

II.Основная часть урока:

"People need all kinds of music - from a simple flute melody to sound great symphony orchestra, from the unpretentious pop songs to Beethoven's Sonatas".

1. What kind of music do you know? Повторение лексики, обозначающей виды музыки. На доске изображается Spider gram, на лучах которой учащиеся в произвольном порядке записывают виды музыки.

Listen to the tunes and number them in order you here them. ( учащиеся прослушивают 9 музыкальных фрагментов и определяют вид музыки, работа с индивидуальными картами)
2.Vocabulary work (распределить слова в две группы positive and negative emotions). Выразить свою точку зрения, используя речевое клеше в индивидуальной карточке.
S1: The first extract belongs to rap style. It was sung by Eminem, who is rather popular all over the world. This genre is very rhythmical and energetic but I don't like it very much. I prefer pop music.
- I know everybody likes music! Some people enjoy classical music, others are fond of pop music. For many of them music is a voice, for the way to relax and have a fun. So many people, so many opinions.

3.Работа над развитием умений диалогической речи и монологической речи:

учащиеся работают в парах, рассказывают о своих предпочтениях в музыке, задают друг другу вопросы, используя новый лексический материал и фразы для выражения своего мнения.

4. Проверка домашнего задания:
Дома учащиеся должны были разгадать зашифрованные слова в тексте. Учитель и ученики проверяют вместе правильность выполнения. Результатом должен получиться связный текст про джазовых музыкантов.(Chainwork)

5. Аукцион:
Учитель показывает фото группы Beatles и предлагает провести аукцион. Кто назовёт наибольшее количество песен в исполнении этойгруппы, тот получит билет на её концерт.
6. Отработка умений задавать вопросы (интервью с солистом группы "Битлз" Полом Маккартни)
В гости к ребятам пришёл солист группы "Биттлз" - Пол Маккартни.
"Students, today we have a guest, one of the four members of Beatles, Paul McCartney. He was born on June 18, 1942. When he was 13 years old his mother died. The boy and the father felt a terrible loss. Paul was keen on football, but music did not play an important part in his childhood. However, he learnt to compose songs on his piano very quickly. Paul was fond of rock'n'roll and Elvis Presley. One of Paul's first ballads "And I Love Her" is devoted to his girlfriend Jane Asher. It is charming, amazing and very intimate. Paul McCartney is the author of the song "Yesterday", which is still popular".
