Тема "The London Eye" Лондонский глаз. Достопримечательности Лондона

Цель: формирование у учащихся иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции на основе развития комплексных навыков иноязычной речевой деятельности.

Задачи:

- формировать базовые знания по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»;

-развивать произносительные навыки (географические названия, достопримечательности);

-закрепить и использовать степени сравнения прилагательных в заданном коммуникационном контексте;

-развивать навыки работы с аутентичным текстом, выделять основную идею текста, проверить детальное понимание текста с помощью ответов на вопросы);

-формировать навыки диалогической речи в ситуациях общения с использованием изученного языкового и речевого материала;

-воспитать интерес к культуре страны изучаемого языка

Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, CD, тематические картины, карта Лондона

ХОД УРОКА

1. Организационный момент.

- Good afternoon, class. How are you?

- Who's on duty today? What date is it today? Who's absent?

2. Речеваязарядка.

- What day of week is it today? What month/season is it? Do you like spring? Why? We all like spring because we have spring holidays and we go to other towns and cities.

3. Введение в тему.

Today we are going to speak about London. It is one of the oldest and biggest cities in England. There are many museums, theatres, parks and shops in London.

To arrive in London we should recite our poem:

Up, down, up, down

Which is the way

ToLondontown?

Where? Where?

Up in the air,

Close your eyes -

And you are there.

is one of the oldest bridges in London. It is over a hundred years old.

Hyde Park

is the most famous park in London. It's a pleasure to watch Londoners walk and jog in the park. There are no signs like "Do not walk on the grass."

The Tower of London

is a very big castle. It is the oldest place in London. It was a castle, a palace, a zoo, a prison and a museum. The most famous things in the Tower of London are the Crown Jewels.
