Цели:
Социокультурный аспект: знакомство с кухней Архангельской области
Развивающий аспект: развитие способности к выбору средств выражения адекватных речевой ситуации, развитие коммуникабельности, развитие умения осуществлять репродуктивные речевые действия, развитие умения осуществлять самоконтроль и самооценку своей деятельности.
Воспитательный аспект: формирование у учащихся потребности и способности к сотрудничеству; формирование потребности и стремления расширить свой кругозор.
Учебный аспект: совершенствование навыков аудирования, устной речи.
Сопутствующая задача: скрытый контроль уровня сформированности лексических навыков.
Речевой материал: лексический и грамматический материал цикла.
Оборудование: задания по аудированию, ТСО: мультимедийный проектор, экран, компьютер.

Look at the cards on your tables. What is it? "Welcome to the Pomor Restaurant!" Oh, it's an invitation card to a restaurant. Pay attention to the name of the restaurant - Pomor. Can you guess what the topic of our lesson will be today? Right! We will read and speak about Northern cuisine and improve your listening skills.

So is Mozzarella cheese!

Слайд 3 On the first slide you can see what kind of soup is popular in the North. Cold soup with meat and vegetables is called okroshka, rich fish soup is called ukha, vegetable soup is called shchee.

Слайд 4 Kvass, kissel and mors are very popular too. Kvass is a drink made of rye bread, mors is a berry drink and kissel is a berry drink with potato starch (starch - крахмал).

Слайд 5 Mors and kissel are made from berries which grow in the thick forests of the Arkhangelsk region such as cloudberries, cowberries, cranberries and bilberries.
Слайд 6 Pomors have always been known as 'cod-eaters', but other kinds of fish such as bream, pike, smelt, halibut and white-fish are well-known too.
