A Teddy Bear Is Going Around

the World.

Цели:

Обучающая Формировать навыки говорения на английском языке

Развивающая: Развить навыки говорения в процессе творческого

обучения учеников друг с другом и учителем при

проведении при проведения праздника.

Воспитательная: Создавать атмосферу толерантного отношения

учеников друг к другу.

Задачи:

1.Познакомить с историей возникновения игрушки мишка-тедди.

2. Расширять лингвострановедческий кругозор учащихся.

Место проведения:

1. Два кабинета английского языка

2. Игровая комната

Оборудование: магнитофон, аудиозаписи; плюшевые мишки, принесенные учениками из дома и из игровой комнаты; тарелки, вилки, салфетки.

Ход мероприятия

T1.:I think that every family and every child has a Teddy bear. Teddy Bears are our favourite toys. I must say that Teddy bear has a birthday of his own. There is the Day of Teddy Bear on the 27th October in the USA and England. In Russia Teddy Bear's Day is on the 19^th of November. (And in 2012 Teddy Bear had his 100^th birthday). Do you have Teddy Bears ? Can you tell us about your Teddy Bears.

My Teddy-Bear

My Teddy's fur is soft and brown,

His legs are short and fat;

He walks with me all round the town

And never wears a hat.

My Teddy keeps me warm in bed,

I like his furry toes;

I like his darling little head,

His pretty little nose.

2. My Teddy Bear is a faithful friend

You can pick him up and either end

His fur is the color of breakfast toast

And he's always there when you need him the most!

3. My Teddy Bear is a faithful friend ,

Whose love and support never end.

It keeps my secrets, never lies,

It's friendly, fuzzy, cozy and wise.

4. My teddy bear is soft and brown

His heart is warm and good.

No matter if I laugh or frown

I know I'm understood!

5.On the floor lies tiny Teddy

Half a paw is gone already.

He is tattered, torn, and lame.

Yet I love him just the same

In1902 in America the President Theodore Roosevelt was hunting in the forest.

His assistants brought him a bear cub. But he was sorry for the little bear and did not kill him.

Soon many people read about this story in the newspapers and magazines.

Morris Michtom, a shopkeeper, saw the drawing of Roosevelt with the bear cub and created a new toy. People liked the toy very much.

Morris Michtom sent the toy to the president Roosevelt and asked if he could give him the name Teddy.

The president agreed and Michtom named the bear Teddy. (the child's name of Theodore).

Later Morris Michtom made Teddy's face funnier.

T1: Thank you. Many people collect teddy bears. The world's first teddy bear museum was opened in England, in 1984.There are many teddy bear museums around the world today. Let's sing a song about Teddy Bears.

T1: On August 21, 1921, A.A. Milne gave his son, Christopher Robin Milne, a teddy bear for his first birthday. In 1926 A. Milne wrote a book about the adventures of the teddy bear. The name of the teddy bear was Winnie-the Pooh. Now we'll see a scene from this story.

T1: In 1987 people saw a grey teddy bear in England. There was a story about it.
