My favourite holiday is Easter. Easter is a great Christian religious holiday.

We usually celebrate Easter in spring - in March, April or sometimes in May.

There are some Easter traditions - people decorate eggs and cook Easter cakes.

An egg is a very popular symbol of this holiday. It is the symbol of a new life.

On Easter Sunday people go to church, they visit their relatives and friends and give each other coloured eggs and different presents.

The common greeting is "Christ is risen". The answer is "Truly He is risen".
