Тема: THINK GLOBALLY, ACT LOCALLY. ДУМАЙ ГЛОБАЛЬНО, ДЕЙСТВУЙ ЛОКАЛЬНО.

Цель: Совершенствование навыков монологической речи. Развитие комму- никативной компетенции учащихся.

Задачи: 1. Социокультурное развитие учащихся.

2. Создание условий для развития памяти, аналитического мышления.

3. Повышение мотивационную сферу учащихся.

4. Создание межпредметных связей.

Оборудование: мультимедийные презентации, видеоматериалы, раздаточный материал.

План учебного занятия:

1. Greeting:

• Good morning, my dear students. Nice to see you here. Take your places.

• Welcome to our environmental conference "THINK GLOBALLY, ACT LOCALLY".

• To start our conference I propose you to watch the video on ecological situation today.

• So, as far as you see our environment is in danger. And you're the people who will have to solve these problems. You're our next generation.

2. Warming-up:

• The environmental problems are numerous, let's name them.

• Today we'll discuss some of them.

3. Speaking:

• The first two experts will tell us about the main environmental issue today CLIMATE CHANGE. I invite Katerina & Anastasiya.

• Overpopulation is a really threatening problem nowardays that cause a lot of other problems. Inna will tell us about RESOURCE DEPLETION.

• Not only humans suffer from environmental problems, but animals also. The problem of ANIMALS IN DANGER has been researched by Irina.

• Everyone in our country knows what radiation is. Let's listen to Vadim who will tell us about RADIOACTIVE CONTAMINATION.

• Thinking globally we can't forget that we live in a small picturesque town and to breathe fresh air and drink clean water we should act locally. Nataliya will tell us about the ECOLOGICAL SITUATION IN PINSK.
