Listen to and read the words. Repeat them

all together. Ex.4 p.61

- We'll continue to learn unit

"Speaking about a new friend" and today

we'll talk about seasons.

Warming-up activity

- Look at the pictures on the blackboard

and answer the question. How do you

think what does the word "seasons" mean?

(Времена года).

- Right. There are four seasons in the year.

Look at the table "look and learn'. Let's

read the names of the seasons.

Let's repeat this word all together.

Pre-reading

- Look at the poem ex. 1 p. 61. Answer

the question. What is this poem about?

While-reading

- Let's read it and try to learn.

Post-reading

- Let's try to translate the poem.

Speaking

- Let's continue and speak about your

favourite season. Name your favourite

season and tell why do you like it? Look at

the example how to say about seasons.

- And now let's play and check who has

remembered the names of the seasons.
