Lesson 37

The Theme is " Season"

Цель урока:Развить навыки устной речи и письма по теме:"Времена года".

Задачи:

-учить рассказывать о временах года (I like summer. I can play badminton in summer)

-учить вести диалог-расспрос, используя вопросы: Do you like...? What do you like to do in...?

-учить понимать на слух текст, построенный на знакомом языковом материале

-учить читать про себя и полностью понимать текст построенный на знакомом языковом материале

Новые слова: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December; a holiday, holidays, season.

Дополнительные пособия: картинки с изображением времён года, ноутбук, СД-диск, видеопроектор, экран.

Ход урока:

1.Организационный момент.

-Good morning! Sit down please! Who is on duty today?(I am on duty today).Who is absent today?(All pupils are present). What is the weather today?(Today is cold and sunny).Well, Let s begin our lesson. Today is the 13 of January. Today we shall have a talk about season. It is a new word. The word "season" means "времена года". Repeat after me all together"season".

At this lesson we must answer the questions:

-what season do you know?

-what season do you like?

-what do you like to do in this season?

2.Фонетическая зарядка:

But at first let s remember a poem. Repeat after me all together.

Spring is green

Summer is bright

Autumn is yellow

Winter is white

Look at the pictures please. Let s answer the question: " What season is it?"

Дети смотрят на фотографии и отвечают на вопрос: "Какое это время года?"

3.Тренировка лексических и фонетических навыков.

Look at the blackboard. Let s read and write new words:

season-время года July-июль

a holiday-праздник August-август

holidays-каникулы September-сентябрь

January-январь October-октябрь

February-февраль November-ноябрь

March-март December-декабрь

April-апрель

May-май

June-июнь

Repeat after me all together.

4.Совершенствование навыков аудирования.

Listen to the dialoge from exercise 1 on page 64 and answer the question"What season do Jill and Jim like?" But at first let s remember words:

Autumn-осень

Summer-лето

Winter-зима

Spring-весна

Ride a bike-кататься на велосипеде

Go to shool-ходить в школу

Don t go to shool-не ходить в школу

I like-мне нравится

To walk-гулять

In the forest-в лесу

Apples-яблоки

Apples season-сезон яблок

It s lovely-это чудесно

Упражнение 1 страница 64- прослушать диалог 1 раз и ответить на вопрос "Какое время года любят Джим и Джилл?"

What season does Jim like? ( Jim likes summer.) What season does Jill like? ( Jill likes autumn.)

После второго прослушивания выполнить упражнение 2 страница 64.

Listen again and say what can Jim do in summer and Jill in autumn.

What can Jim do in summer? ( He can play football and ride a bike)

What can Jill do in autumn? ( She can walk with a dog)

What does Jill like? (Jill likes apples.)

5.Активизация лексических навыков по теме"Времена года".

It is models of sentences. You must make sentences.

I like spring. Spring is green. I can ride a bike in spring.

Who wants to say the sentences?

Ley s play. I divide you into two teams. Each team will answer two guestions:"What season do you like? and "What do you like to do in this season?" Ask guestions each other. Sveta and Alina will help me. Дети задают друг другу вопрсы. Алина и Света проверяют правильность заданных вопросов и ответов. Побеждает та команда, которая быстрее ответит на вопросы.

6.Физкультминутка.

I can see that you are tired. Let s stand up and do the exercises.

Touch your ears, touch your toes

Wash your hands!

7. Развитие навыков чтения

Let s listen to the words and repeat them after the speaker. Дети слушают и повторяют названия месяцев. Ex.5 P.65. После прослушивания дети выполняют задания к упражнению:

a) Выберите и назовите те месяцы, которые по звучанию похожи на русские.

b) Назовите месяцы в алфавитном порядке.

c) What are the winter months? (December, January, February)

What are the spring months? (March, April, May)

What are the summer months? (June, July, August)

What are the autumn months? (September, October, November)

d) Let s count how many months do you know? All together!

При выполнении задания обратить внимание детей на правило: Названия месяцев в английском языке всегда пишутся с заглавной буквы.

7.Проверка домашнего задания.

Let s remember our old friends: The Country mouse and The town mouse. Listen to dialogue about them. Come to the blackboard.

Дети инсценируют диалог.

What do you think? What season does The Country Mouse like? What season does The Town Mouse like?

8.Подведение итогов. Домашнее задание.

You worked well during the lesson. And now you can answer the guestions. Let s answer them:

-what do you like to do in this season?
