Цели урока:

- образовательная - расширение кругозора учащихся в области домашних животных у нас в стране и в Великобритании, ознакомление с поэзией и песнями Великобритании;

- практическая - приобщение к проектной деятельности, закрепление лексических навыков по теме, совершенствование грамматических и речевых навыков, развитие монологической и диалогической речи;

- воспитательная - развитие личности, формирование способности работать в группах и самостоятельно, развитие навыков сотрудничества и взаимопомощи, привитие любви к животным, повышение мотивации учащихся;

- развивающая - развитие мышления, воображения, интеллектуальных способностей.

Проблема: привить любовь к домашним животным.

Задачи:

  1. Выявить каких популярных домашних животных содержат в семьях учащихся.

  2. Описать их способности с научной точки зрения.

  3. Научить учащихся писать сочинения о домашних животных.

  4. Подобрать пословицы, поговорки, загадки о домашних животных.

  5. Ознакомить учащихся с поэзией Великобритании, посвящённой теме «Домашние животные».

Оборудование:

иллюстрации на тему «Домашние животные», проекты учащихся, презентация по теме, раздаточный материал для работы на уроке.



Ход урока

  1. Приветствие, Организационный момент.

  1. Teacher: Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. (Учащиеся приветствуют учителя и произносят рифмовку).

Good morning to you!

Good morning, good morning,

We are glad to see you!

  1. Беседа с дежурным.

Who is on duty today?

What date is it?

Who is absent?

What is the weather like today?

  1. OK. Let's start our lesson now! (Выбор картинки - настроения): Look at the pictures. There are faces of mood. What mood do you have? Take the picture to your mood. Who has … mood? (учащиеся поднимают руки и выбирают картинку - настроение).



  1. Целеполагание (наведение на тему урока).

  1. Teacher: Let's try to guess the topic of our lesson. I have prepared some riddles for you. If you guess all the riddles correctly, you will be able to name the topic of our lesson.

Ученик берёт со стола карточку с загадкой, читает её классу. Отгадавший загадку ученик записывает правильный ответ на доске.

Riddle number 1: There is hair on its body, long hair or short hair. This hair is its coat. It has a long or short tail. It has four legs but no arms: it takes things with its mouth. It has no feet or hands, but four paws at the end of its legs. When it likes you, it gives you its paw. What animals is it? (a dog)

Riddle number 2: There is no hair on its body, there are feathers. It has no arms, but two wings. With these wings it flies from tree to tree. In spring it builds its nest in the branches of trees. What is it? (a bird)

Riddle number 3: It cannot walk! It cannot fly! Why? Because it does not have legs; itdoes not have wings. It can only crawl. Poor, poor creature! What is it? (a snail)

Riddle number 4: It is grey and white. It has got a very long nose - a trunk and two long white teeth - tusks. What animal is it? (an elephant)

  1. Teacher: Give a more general word. (учитель вешает плакат на доску со словом «Animals»). We are going to speak on this topic today as much as possible. You will be doing a lot of different things.



  1. Фонетическая зарядка.

Teacher: But at first we must train our tongues. Repeat after me!

{au} - cow, how, mouse

{ai} - tiger, lion, wild

{o} - fox, dog, frog

{ei} - snail, snake, favourite

  1. Teacher: Name the animals according to the diagram.

  1. Teacher: Ask the questions to each other, please. (учащиеся задают вопросы друг другу).

What wild animals do you know?

What is you favourite wild animals?

What domestic animals do you know?

What is you favourite domestic animals?

Have you got a pet? What is it?

What is your per called?

What does it look like?



  1. Проверка домашнего задания (учащиеся выходят к доске, показывают проектную работу и рассказывают о своём любимом домашнем животном).

Teacher: Tell us some words about your pets.

Примерные ответы:



My name is …. The animals we keep at home are our pets. I am fond of pets. That's why I have a dog. My dog's name is Toby. He is not very big. He is black and white. He is clever and strong. He knows me by the tone of my voice. Toby is a good companion and a true friend. He guards our family. I teach my dog to answer to his name, to understand me, and to do what I tell him. I treat my dog with care and love. I am kind to my pet, never make him angry. I feed my pet properly and regularly. Toby likes to eat meat, chew on bones and drink milk. Sometimes I buy special food for him. Twice a day I take Toby for a walk. When he is sick I take my pet to the vet. My dog likes to play with a ball in the grass. I love Toby and I can't imagine my life without him.



My name is …. I have got a parrot. Its name is Kesha. Kesha is a small and clever bird. I teach him to talk. It is not easy but interesting. I like to watch him when he is looking in the mirror. My parrot lives in the cage, but he likes to fly around the room. I feed him regularly. He likes corn. When my pet is happy he twitters and talks. I take care about my parrot; I clean his cage, feed him, talk to him and play with him. I am always kind to my parrot very much.

  1. Физкультминутка.


Teacher: Let's rest a little (учащиеся повторяют движения за учителем).

Little Bear turn around.

Little Bear touch the ground.

Little Bear, nod your head,

Close your eyes and go to bed.


  1. Систематизация знаний учащихся по теме «Animals».

Teacher: Now you will see a competition called «Animals». Three teams will take part in a game. (Учитель представляет команды и объясняет правила игры).

The game has four rounds: twisters; animal lover; a word game; grammar. Each team gets one point for every correct answer. If the answer is wrong, you get no point. And now we come to the first round which is called "Twisters". Read these tongue twisters as quickly as you can.

  • The bear at sea has got peas and pears for tea.

  • Can a cat catch a carrot on a carpet?

  • This fat cat from Manx likes fat rats.

Teacher: The second round is called "Animal Lover". Please describe the animals. I'll give you two minutes for this. (Каждой команде даётся картинка с изображением животного. Учащиеся описывают животного.)

Teacher: The third is called ''A Word Game''. Make up sentences of given words. (Слова в предложениях на карточках даны в неправильном порядке. Учащиеся составляют предложения.)

Варианты предложений:

  • People must take special care of them all.

  • We must save wild animals.

  • We must find the right balance between land people and animals.

Teacher: Grammar. Look at the pictures and compare the animals. (Каждая команда получает картинки животных, сравнивает их, употребляя степени сравнения прилагательных.)


  1. Teacher: Let's sing the song «Old MacDonald's Farm». (Учащиеся исполняют песню «Old MacDonald's Farm».)


  1. Аудирование текста и выполнение заданий к нему.

Teacher: Listen how to take care about your toy pets, please. Then use must/ mustn't in the sentences below.


Sometimes you don't have a pet. Your parents don't want to bother or you live in a very small flat, where there is no place for a pet. But you want to have a very special toy for your pet like a tedde bear. This pet doesn't need any food or water but it still needs care too. To keep your teddy bear happy and healthy:


You … leave it on the floorbecause it gets dirty.

You … clean it.

You … leave it in the sun because it loses its colour.

You … brush it.

You … fix any holes in it.

You … make new clothes for it or just give it a new ribbon for its birthday.

You … take it travelling with you because it gets lonely without you.

You … put it next to you at night when you go to bed and you won't feel scared.

It is going to be your wonderful pet for many, many years if you look after it well.


  1. Teacher: I know that in Britain people like to write short poems called limericks. Now, let's read one of them (учащиеся читают лимерик).

There once was a cat named Pat,

Who didn't know where he was at,

He looked up and down,

And then turned around,

Ran into a wall and went splat!!!


  1. Заключительная часть урока. Подведение итогов. Выставление оценок.

Teacher: So, you see, boys and girls it's very good that you know so much about animals. But you must remember that animals and birds are our friends. Never hurt animals take care of them.



  1. Составление букета настроения. Учащиеся сравнивают своё настроение с началом урока. Проводиться рефлексия настроения и эмоционального состояния. Учащимся раздаются бумажные цветы: красные и синие. На доске изображена ваза.

Teacher: Now tell me, please. Did you like our lesson?

  1. Домашнее задание: написать лимерик о своем домашнем питомце.
