The Matinee: Happy English
Good afternoon , dear teachers and pupils!
We congratulate you with The Languages day! We wish you be active and work hard in learning English. And today we glad to see you here. Today children show their talents. They can dance and sing a song. Now let`s begin our concert.
1. Let`s sing our anthem "Kazakhstan"
2. The sun, the trees, the grass, the sky
The silver moon that`s sailing by
The train and dew and snowflakes white,
The flowers sweet and stars of night!
Now, listen the poem: "Whole duty of children" by Dulat:
Dulat: A child should always say what`s true
And speak when he is spoken to
And behave mannerly at table:
At least as far as he is able.
Kuanyshbek: Hearts, like doors, will open with ease
To very, very little keys.
And don`t forget that two of these
Are "I thank you" and "If you please"
Language is the main type of means of communication. There are nearly 6000 languages in the world. English and Russian are the languages of an international communication, and Kazakh is state language of our country.
Let`s listen to Aigerim, she tells for you about the capital of our Kazakhstan - Astana.
Aigerim: The republic of Kazakhstan is located in thye center of the Eurasian continent. The independence of Kazakhstan was proclaimed by the national Parliament on December, 16, 1991. There are more than 100 nationalities living in Kazakhstan. The capital of our Kazakhstan is Astana. There are many beautiful buildings. The President is the head of the state. I proud of my Kazakhstan!
Now, listen to the song: "Always be mummy"
1. Bright blue the sky
Sun up on high
That was the little boy`s picture
He drew for you
Wrote for you, too
Just to make clear what he drew
Refrain: May there always be sunshine
May there always be blue sky
May there always be Mummy
May there always be Me!
2. My little friend
Listen, my friend
Peace is the dream of the people
Hearts old and young
Never have done
Singing the song you have sung
Arystan: One, two, three, four, five
Once I caught a fish alive.
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten
Then I let it go again.
Mira: I want to be a worker
On a Kazakh modern plant
And make machines and lorries
For our Kazakhstan.
In the end of our concert we finished with this poem:
Umit: My Country, your country
Travel east or west
If north is good and south is letter
Which land is the best?
Now our concert is over. We hope that you take pleasure of our concert. We saw that our pupils are clever and hard working. We wish you good luck, success in your study and good relationship with teachers. Good bye! See you soon.
