Цілі:

Навчальна: вдосконалення лексичних навичок (відпрацьовувати і активізувати в мові лексичні одиниці і використовувати їх в мікро - висловлюваннях і діалогах).

Розвиваюча: вчити працювати в парах, користуватися картою Лондона.

Виховна: прищеплювати інтерес до культури, пам'яткам Великобританії.

ХІД УРОКУ

1. Організаційний момент.

- Good afternoon, class. How are you?

- Who's on duty today? What date is it today? Who's absent?

2. Мовна зарядка.

- What day of week is it today? What month / season is it? What season is after spring? Do you like summer? Why? We all like summer because we have summer holidays and we go to other towns and cities.

3. Введення в тему.

Today we are going to speak on London. It is one of the oldest and biggest cities in England. There are many museums, theatres, parks and shops in London.

4. Фонетична зарядка. На дошці транскрипція слів, що позначають пам'ятки Лондона.

У двох колонках дані слова, з яких треба скласти пам'ятки Лондона.

- There are many interesting places in London. Put together two words and have the name of the sight. Then find its transcription and read it.

Зразкові висловлювання:

Buckingham Palace is the most famous place in London. It is the home of the Queen. There are 600 rooms in it. It has an indoor swimming pool and a cinema.

Trafalgar Square is the most popular place for people to meet. In the middle of the square there is Nelson's Column, which is 51 m high.

The London Eye is the biggest wheel in Britain. It was opened on 1 February 2000 in London. There's a wonderful view from it.

Madam Tussaud's is the world's most famous waxwork museum. Over two million people go there every year to see wax figures of presidents, film stars and pop stars.

Tower Bridge is one of the oldest bridges in London. It is over a hundred years old.

Hyde Park is the most famous park in London. It's a pleasure to watch Londoners walk and jog in the park. There are no signs like "Do not walk on the grass."

The Tower of London is a very big castle. It is the oldest place in London. It was a castle, a palace, a zoo, a prison and a museum. The most famous things in the Tower of London are the Crown Jewels.

На дошці - пропозиції з пропусками, в які треба вставити назви пам'яток і прикметники в найвищому ступені (the oldest, the most beautiful, the deepest, the biggest, the most popular, the most famous).

9. Аудіювання з використанням медіа обладнання.

Учні слухають запис і розігрують діалог в парах, вчитель підключається до них і слухає.

10. Складання діалогів.

Запитуємо, як пройти до певних пам'ятках в Лондоні. Робота з картою Лондона.

Мовленнєва ситуація:
