My school

In Russia the school year starts on the 1^st of September. Children got o school at the age of six or seven. We study at Primary School for four years. We have a lot of subjects on our timetable: Russian, Literature, English, Math, Nature Study, P. E., Handicraft and Music. We have autumn, winter, spring and summer holidays. Autumn and spring holidays last one week, winter holidays last two weeks. Summer holidays are the longest. They last three months.

I am a student of gymnasia № 2. My name is ________________. My surname is __________________. I am a pupil of the fourth form. I have classes 5 days a week. Saturday and Sunday are my days - off. The lessons start at 8.30. Usually we have six lessons every day. Children in our school study foreign languages. Primary pupils study English. We learn poems by heart, sing English songs, learn new words, write dictations, read and translate interesting texts.
