Конспект обобщающего урока

по английскому языку в 10 классе

Тема: «США, Великобритания, Канада, Австралия, Россия. Мы все такие разные?»

Цели урока:

Познавательный аспект - знакомство с культурологическими образами русской и иноязычной культуры; формирование представления о поликультурности мира.

Развивающий аспект - развитие культуроведческой и речевой наблюдательности, развитие образного и ассоциативного мышления на базе заочного путешествия по англоговорящим странам и России, развитие творческих способностей учащихся, способности к сравнению и сопоставлению полученных знаний, развитие умения формулировать и излагать логически свои высказывания.

Воспитательный аспект - воспитание чувства гордости за свою страну,

уважения к ее людям, воспитание потребности и способности понимать менталитет людей своей страны и людей другой культуры.

Учебный аспект - совершенствование навыков чтения с различными

стратегиями; развитие речевых умений на основе прочитанного.

Ход урока:

Актуализация учебной деятельности:

T: A lot of people travel nowadays. It's not surprising because they have lots of good reasons to do it (to travel). What reasons can you tell us?

P1: First of all travelling is a part of people's education. It's always interesting to discover new places and new ways of musical rhythms.

P2: Besides, travelling is a good way to practice foreign languages.

P3: Another reason why people travel is to relax.

P4: Finely, more and more people nowadays travel around the world business.

T: Today we'll travel too and you will know a lot of interesting facts about different countries. Are you ready?

IV. Путешествие по странам.

T: Welcome to Canada. «Canada: people and sport», this project was done by P1-P2. Take your tables and write down the most impotent information about people and sport in Canada.
T: Listen and watch please information about Australia (P3) and

write down the necessary information in your tables.

T: Symbols and holidays in Canada. (P4)
T: «How does the geographical position Influence the people's lives and characters» (Р5). Fill in the tables.
T: Russian culture and traditions... We can speak a lot of about it. Let's watch a film about unusual school in Russian, where the students teach each other. The great aim (object) is learning of russian traditions (учащиеся смотрят видеоролик об экспериментальной школе, которая находится в России, в Краснодарском крае и была основана М.Щетининым).
T: Nationality stereotype of British. Listen to (P6) and fill in the tables.
T: Did you fill your tables? Can you answer the main question of our lesson: are we really so different?
