«Do you feel like travelling?»

Задачи:

1. Познакомить с мнениями британских подростков о путешествиях. Совершенствовать речевые навыки. Развивать умения аудировать и читать с целью извлечения конкретной информации.

2Развивать способности к переключению и распределению внимания, к догадке по словообразованию; развивать воображение. Развивать способности к логическому изложению содержания высказывания.

3. Формировать потребности и способности к критическому мышлению, уверенность в себе, в своих силах; чувство собственного достоинства и уважения к достоинству других людей.

Речевой материал: Лексический и грамматический материал предыдущих уроков.

Ход урока

1.Организационный момент. Приветствие.

Teacher: Good morning!

Pupils: Good morning!

Teacher: How are you today?

Pupils: We are fine, thank you. And you?

2.Введение в сюжет урока.

Teacher: I'm fine too. Sit down, please. Boys and girls, today we'll start our lesson a bit unusually. Look at the whiteboard and try to guess the missing word.

3.Целеполагание.

Right you are. Today we're going to discuss travelling. Travelling is one of the most favourite activities, isn't it? We'll speak about it today you'll know different opinions about travelling, share your own ideas, listen to the dialogue

4.Фонетическая зарядка.

Let's revise some verbs on the topic:

- an excursion экскурсия

- to relax отдыхать

- a tourist турист

- attraction аттракцион

- a trip поездка

- holidaymaker отдыхающий

- a resort курорт

- a destination место назначения

And some new words, try to guess their meanings:

• to be satisfied with smth.

• homesickness

• a stay- at-home

5. Аудирование

Today you'll know different opinions about travelling. Some people enjoy relaxing on their holidays, while some others prefer something that is adventurous and thrilling.

Listen to some young people talking about how they usually spend their holidays. What do they choose for their holidays. And then answer the question: "Do they like travelling or not?"
