Цели:
Образовательные:
- содействовать активизации накопленного словарного запаса по теме;
- создать условия для употребления в речи изученных лексических единиц;
- содействовать совершенствованию речевых навыков на основе прочитанного текста;
- содействовать развитию навыка изучающего чтения.
Развивающие:
- содействовать развитию произносительных навыков по теме;
- содействовать умению систематизировать приобретённые знания;
- создать условия для развития умения анализировать прочитанный текст;
Воспитательные:
- создать условия для работы в группе, помочь в развитии умения выслушать другого, сотрудничать;
- содействовать формированию самостоятельности, активности, умение объективно оценивать свои достижения и успехи одноклассников;
- привлекать внимание учащихся к здоровому образу жизни;
- создавать ситуацию успеха.
Оснащение урока: компьютер, проектор, учебник, раздаточный материал.

Good morning friends. I'm glad to see you. How are you today? OK! I'm glad that everybody is fine. But who is absent today? I see. Thank you.
Now let's start our work.

- Look at the pictures on the slide. What do you see? Can you name the topic of our lesson. Yes, you are right, the topic we will discuss today is " Healthy lifestyle". (SLIDE 1)
Look, I've found a letter in one of the youth magazines. Let's read it. (SLIDE 2)

My name is Janet. I'm 15. I'm in a big trouble. The problem is my excess weight. I've never been very thin. But I've never paid any attention to that until one of my classmates called me a blubber. It's awful. I've tried several diets. No results. Nothing seems to work. I feel miserable and frustrated. Help me please.
What should we do? Yes we must help Janet. So, what's the aim of our lesson? Yes, quite right, to help Janet lead healthy lifestyle. How can we do it? We must find out what a healthy lifestyle is. You'll be experts on healthy lifestyle, and work in groups.

Nowadays we speak a lot about healthy lifestyle. What do you associate this word combination with? In your groups write the associations down and then we'll write them on the board.

So, dear experts, you are going to read an article on healthy lifestyle. On your desks you have tables you have to fill in. There are three columns in the table. You fill in the first two columns before reading the text. The third column is filled after reading the text.
