Aims:

To consolidate the material, using different ways of the activation of foreign speech
To develop pupils' memory, logical thinking and attention
To stimulate pupils to learn English language

Hello dear pupils. I am happy to meet you today at this unusual lesson. Today we have a competition between pupils of four grades. We have four teams. Every team has its own name and. Tell us please them. Choose the captain of the team.

My house

I live in a big house in the village. It is in the center of the page. There are two floors in it. We have a red roof and blue walls. In front of the house there is a river, where you can see some fish. To the right if the house you can see a big dog. It is brown and white. Near it you can see a cow. It is eating the grass. To the left of the house there are three apple trees with many apples on them. Just above the house there are three blue clouds and, of course, the golden sun.

The third task is the following:

You are going to watch the video twice. Then I give you couple minutes to play out this dialogue.

A VISIT TO ST. PETERSBURG

Last weekend we (travel) to St. Petersburg. We (get) on a fast

train at 3 o'clock. On the train my friend and I (talk) a little,

(read) some magazines and then (sleep) for about an hour.

The train (stop) only twice. It (take) us five hours to get to the

North capital. At about nine o'clock we (come) to our hotel. The

next day we (go) on a bus excursion about the city. Fortunately,

the weather (be) fine. We (start) from the Nevsky Prospect and

(drive) along it to the Neva. Our guide (know) a lot of interesting

facts, stories and jokes which she (tell) us with great pleasure.

The driver (stop) the bus from time to time, and we (go)

out to admire the wonderful churches, palaces, museums and

the famous bridges. We (learn) a lot of interesting things about

the city and its people. The bus (bring) us back to the Nevsky

Prospect at about four o'clock in the afternoon. It (be) time for

dinner. We (be) hungry and thirsty. We (enter) one of the many

cafes, (find) a table and (sit) down. We (choose) from the menu

what we (want). The dinner not (cost) us much. It was in fact

twice as cheap as in Moscow. There (be) a lot of people around

languages: English, Italian, German, Finnish. After dinner we

hotel. We (be) tired but very happy.
